Earthbound / Mother 2 - Music Pack

Adrian's Music Packs

Description
All MMS packs are compatible with WotC

A pack of music from Earthbound for MMS. The selections are driven by a desire to stick with the overall mood of the default music and other packs available, so there is very little of the really bouncy chip-tuney stuff. This will not be everybody's cup of tea, but if like me you are dissapointed that Dr. Andonut's theme doesn't play at HQ then you will probably be pleased.

Everything has been edited to intro and loop properly. With one exception that I am aware of (which nobody seems to be able to loop properly), any perceived issues wityh the loop are parts of the original tracks. I could fix them, but I have made the artistic choice to leave them as-is.

My thanks to Nintendo's music staff for the great soundtrack, all of the people who ripped the music and Jayde Garrow for the font used in the icon.

Criticism always welcome!

(If you don't get music in combat, make sure that "mix in indifferent" is turned on under the MMS settings)

Ratings increase a mods visibility, but they are not shown until it receives 25. On niche mods like the ones that I tend to make it can take months to get a rating. Please consider taking a moment to provide one, positive or negative. I do not rate my own mods.

@Samio: Thank YOU very much for enjoying them.

@nintendoeats Well I'm not sure if it would work all that nicely theme-wise but I always was a fan of The Witcher 3's soundtrack. Far Cry 5's soundtrack is also pretty good if you can find a good rip.
There's also a game called Rebel Galaxy that has an AWESOME soundtrack, but there's lyrics. I know for a fact you can find HQ instrumentals quite easily.
Thanks again for making mods and doing what you do.

@mra: Full listing now posted as a spreadsheet.

@Samio: Thanks, I'm glad for the kind words. I mainly switched to doing music mods because I'm somewhat under the weather and they require less focus than cleaning up voice files, but I'm glad I did.

Might I ask which soundtracks you particularly had in mind? I'm curious what people are interested in.

@Tobias599: I have a big list of soundtracks I want to work through already, and after that it's back to cleaning up background noise from Richard Hammond. However, I have just completed a guide on how to do your own music packs . Depending on how well the Undertale music can be made to loop (I suspect very well) this process can be completed in a few hours. It's also great fun.

@nintendoeats Not my cup of tea in terms of music, but I'm very happy to see you branch out into music mods, there's so many soundtracks that should be in this game. Thank you for giving people the option! This clearly has a lot of care put into it, judging by the tracks list. :happyleon:

No rush, thanks!

@mra: Oooooooh. I can't think of a way to do that short of going through my cues and writing it out by hand. I'm working on something else atm, I'll get to that later today.

Cheers, I meant a tracklist that shows which song replaces what
