PIXY (Vanilla)

Description
VEHICLE LORE

With the advent of new super weapons, it became clear to us that in order to survive we must be ready to strike fast and strike first. As such, project Pixy was launched to create a new aircraft that would replace our fleet of extremely outdated Talon fighters. After months of laborious research and development the final version of the FJ-15 was completed and is now set for mass production.
The FJ-15 or Pixy as it’s more commonly known, is a multi-rolled strike aircraft. This means it is a versatile platform that can perform tasks ranging from air defense to ground attack and even reconnaissance. The use of an inverted wing gives the aircraft enhanced agility when operating at sub sonic speeds. It is equipped with the latest digital flight control systems making the aircraft quite nimble and responsive. Its wings can be equipped with a wide variety of weapons including guided missiles. A 20mm fire spray cannon is also equipped for close range combat.
Pixy is due to start its first training operations with ally forces within the next month.

IN SPACE ENGINEERS

This aircraft is inspired by the Morgan from Ace Combat Zero hence the similarities. I’ve put a lot of time and effort into making this look as sleek and aerodynamic as possible. Do keep in mind this is still a vanilla build so I’m stuck with whatever space engineers gives me. The aircraft’s sleek look does come with a few drawbacks. First, the aircraft lacks a landing gear (I didn’t put one in because landing gear are ugly abominations that don’t retract). Also, the interior space is very compact (this means you can’t add additional thrusters or components to the inside.) It’s still very nimble even in vanilla however without an aerodynamics mod, the aircraft tends to lose control while turning at high speeds. This is more or less just a problem with space engineers overall. If you decide to play with an aerodynamics mod (which I recommend) this baby flies like a dream. No joke we’re talking F-22 levels of maneuverability here. Otherwise this thing behaves pretty similarly to other aircraft of it’s size and is equipped with your standard SE weapons.

@bub1881 , I use deadly reentry but idk what your PC can and can't handle so it's ultimately up to you to find what fits should you choose to use the mod.

Any suggestions of aerodynamics mods? A good one that isn't going to start CPU fires or full of glitches?
