Better Mammoths

Wotcha lads and lasses, welcome to Better Mammoths, the mod that makes Mammoths, better

This the standalone version of the Better Mammoth from my Better Dinos mod. If you already have that mod there is no need to also have this one.

The Better Mammoth boasts the following new features;

- Tusk attack does not stop movement, will not gather berries, and uses the Beavers damage type for lots and lots of lovely wood on the move

- Stomp attack can still be used to gather berries, but will not gather wood

- Can gather Fiber with the C key

- Can be equipped with a lovely new Mammoth Platform Saddle, crafted in vanilla Smithies or Smithy capable creatures inventories


A Mammoth equipped with a platform saddle will be unable to ride on other platforms or rafts.

To spawn in a Better Mammoth use the following code for a wild one;


To spawn a tamed Mammoth use the Vanilla spawn code (cheat GMSummon "Mammoth_Character_BP_C" 150 0 0) but this will spawn a vanilla Mammoth, you can then convert it to the Better Mammoth by going into Option in the Radial Menu and selecting Convert To Better Mammoth.

If you are running a very high rate server you may wish to use the Mammoths orginal wood gathering damage type, in which case use the following in your GameUserSettings.Ini;

[BetterMammoths]
PreventMammothUseBeaverDamage= (Set to true to use original mammoth damage type)
