Description
Supports RimWorld versions 1.0 - 1.5

This mod adds classes with unique abilities.
RimWorld of Magic adds over 35 unique classes with even more available in class add-on packs. Each class has a set of unique abilities and fills specific roles (healer, offensive caster, utility, etc) and each class has a unique development tree to improve their abilities as they level up their class.

Additional features include unique apparel/equipment options, gem crafting and enchantments, magical buildings such as portals, arcane forges and more. Challenge your newfound power against new, deadly events. Unique research tree that opens up a diverse set of improvements for the colony, including learning how to animate Golems. A to top it off, a new "magic" faction that is known to deal in many powerful artifacts.

To add to the challenge, AI classes are able to use abilities.

Mod options are also included that allow you to tailor many mod related features such AI difficulty, how common mages/fighters are, and how fast mages develop.

The mod can be added to an existing save, but works and plays best when starting with a new game.

@copycat There is a standalone JecTools mod made specialy to support Rimworld of Magic.
I think it's named JecTools of Magic

Is there an alternativ to using JecTools?
It's the most useless thing in the Workshop sadly.

@Redtor It has been a while. There's some conceptual overlap with psycasts, but I don't remember any conflicts. They should work together fine now, at any rate.

There is a glitch to be aware of if you're using the Vehicle Framework mod. Once you've cast a spell from this mod on a target, the vehicle mod target selection stops working. That can be worked around by saving the game and reloading, though.

@Winter Didn't it have conflicts with psycasts? or was it with Humanoid Alien Races? (as I said, it was a long time ago)

Amazing mod, but I really want to request that the ability icons be able to be minimized like the psycasts and some other abilities. I am not sure if this was part of the Vanilla Expanded mod, but the ability icons minimized as part of the mod include some abilities like those of revenant spine invisibility and other core functions.

@Redtor I've been using this mod before, during, and since Royalty's release, and didn't notice any conflict. What did you run into?

Hi, I used to use this mod a long time ago now, then Royalty came and broke it.

My question is if the mod has been updated to support DLC or I still need to run only the base game.

@Akry From the description, I think resistance reduces the effect of hostile spells on a pawn. To cut down on arcane weakness, you'll want to look for effects that reduce the casting cost of a spell.
