"I’ve been playing POE for many years, so I’m already used to its rhythm. I think it’s fun overall, but honestly, since it’s an old game, getting two friends to join me is pretty much impossible. Now that POE2 is out, I decided to try it out on my own first. The beginner’s guide is really well done— even though I’m not a POE veteran, I didn’t face any difficulties. The early game isn’t too hard, the quests are clearly guided, and the system introduces things step by step. There’s even a new control mode, and most importantly, the graphics have kept up with the times. It won’t make newcomers want to quit right away.
From the perspective of an old player, the classic gameplay has been retained quite well, so it felt familiar from the start. But seeing it in the new graphics and system still gives me a fresh feeling. The gem system has been revamped, and it feels quite refreshing to me. I’ve heard that POE1 and POE2 will have overlapping updates, so it looks like I’ll be grinding both at the same time in the future. I’m really enjoying the grind!"
