best indie game ever

Best Cells-like of all time

Played most of it with Quakespasm, so my playtime isn’t represantative, but what can I say about Quake other than the fact that’s it’s masterclass in FPS design? It’s fantastic, instant buy, 10/10

The graphics are stunning for its age and it runs well on MAX settings on my IHD 4000 laptop which cant even play minecraft except if i use the lowest settings.
The gameplay and combat feels very fun and although im bad at shooter games, this one isnt too hard on medium difficulty, but also not easy.
The futuristic weapons and the crossbow are very cool. The story is interesting and you also have to think about some puzzles, altough until now i havent encountered too hard and interesting ones, I havent finished it yet though.
For 8€, this is a fantastic game to pick up. The only bad thing about it the game is the part where you have to ride on that jetski-like thing, as it was too long for me. Pther than that tho, great game.
I recommend getting the Orange Box for double the price to get HL Episode 1 and 2 as well, plus Portal and TF2.
