So, you just installed Steam and are looking for a game to play, and with little to no money in your wallet, you look in the free to play section and stumble across this game. It's been out for over a decade so you know it has been worked on a lot, but nothing is perfect, there are and still will be issues and unbalanced gameplay, but every game has something like that. However, unlike other games, TF2 takes these issues and turns them into something beautiful. It could be a bug with a model that has been turned into a taunt and cosmetic, or a long running stereotype that has created hours of wholesome and not-so-wholesome content on the internet; I'm looking at you free-to-plays. I had been following TF2 since roughly 2011/12, and when I finally got my computer in 2018 I was ecstatic to finally play this game, and still am to this day. It's quirky characters combined with it's variety in gameplay styles, there is something for everyone. The 2020 bot crisis is being worked on at the time of this review, and I'm sad to see lot's of new and returning players experience this game, but have it ruined by these gamebreaking bots and hackers. And for any players reading this, just know, IT WILL GET BETTER. We have waited for valve before, and we can do it again. You don't have to religiously play this game, but Valve will not abandon it unless we, the players, do. So if you enjoy the game or are interested in playing it, go for it. You may get rekt by players with 5k hours or hackers, but it will only make the satisfaction of killing them that much better. Have a great say gamers, and Happy 4th to my American brothers/sisters.
