This was my very first ever Souls game. I don't know why I wanted to play a Souls game but I did. It was a very shaky start and got smacked on bosses such as Crystal Sage and Abyss Watchers. After dying over and over again I finally got to the halfway point. I got to Irithyll and dropped the game for several months because I couldn't stand the difficulty spike. I recently picked this game back up and have gotten to the final boss of the game without too much trouble on any of the bosses other then Dancer and Pontiff. This game is such a great experience and has made me love these really difficult games because there is no greater joy than first trying a boss (My first was Dragonslayer Armour) or finally triumphing over a boss that has stomped you into the ground countless times. 100% worth the small price of $15 during the winter sale.
