as a veteran player having played since D1 beta, yes i do recommend this game. the lore is amazing, the characters, the gunplay, locations. for someone just getting into the game, there are many things to do. all the story missions, crucible, strikes. getting all the cool exotics. now thats its free-to-play there isnt a reason why someone shouldnt just try it. unless it isnt you type of game or into shooters.
