I hate this game

Don't play it

Nice 8-bit style graphics.

Creepy atmosphere

But the gameplay feels very slow. And there are only 3 weapons. But thats not the worst part. The worst part is the fact that this game doesn't have a save system. If you play it. Be prepared to beat it. And yes if you die once the game is over.

Would only recommend this to old-school fps collectors. Otherwise buy at your own risk.

Its a good game. But its too short, not too much to do or interact with considering what the nature of the John Carpenter's ''thing''-like monster you play as should allow.

Very few enemy types, and it feels very meh to kill humans because they don't do much besides walk around... run and scream or shoot. There should be more reactions from them, maybe more ways to consume and kill them to make it engaging. Another thing that I didn't like is how fragile the monster is, a few handgun shots can kill it. A machine gun melts it. I know this is not exactly ''the thing'' monster, but fictional logic dictates that just putting holes in a living shapeshifting mass of flesh is not going to do much besides just piss it off.

Anyway. The game still fun for what it is. It had potential to be way better than this, but still worth at least one playthrough.

Its chinese Duke Nukem. And its pretty good.

Beware for some annoying puzzles though.

Its not horrible. There's entertainment to be had here if you like retro shooters. But the game gets very confusing. Maps feel like a maze.

Its a decent telltale type game.

If you are a planet of the apes fan I recommend playing it at least once.

Just beat the early access content. Pretty good game. Had a lot of fun. This is Doom meets Lovecraft.

Despite the cartoonish, comic book graphic style the game looks pleasant. It still manages to keep a dark atmosphere. I actually had a few moments of uneasiness and some jump scares here and there.

Sound design ranges from very good to very meh. Some of the monsters sound like a little kid trying to make a scary voice.

There's a good variety of enemies. And the bosses are awesome to fight. (only 2 bosses at the momment)

The weapons are satisfying and there's a bunch of them. You can also upgrade your character. I haven't check out all of the upgrades avaiable, but from what I have experienced, its pretty cool to use them. For example you can upgrade your knife to a throwing knife. Incredibly useful when you have no ammo.

But I do highly recommend to get this on sale only.

Also, as a christian I have to mention something... you play as what I assume to be a christian character hence the title of the game ''forgive me father''. And through out the game you gain abilities to use. Such as a cross (regens a portion of your health) and a bible (makes you invincible for a while). I absolutely loved that. This is probably the only video game I've played that showed some respect to christians, while nearly everything else in the market is so quick to mock and defile christianity in the most teenage edgy way possible.

First of all he looks like just a fat old man.
2th He isn't Shockingly Obese
3th He is alround the same size as a maneater in game, he is the OVERTYRANT. Greasus is supposed to be a huge mufuka.
4th He doesn't get out of his damn chair to crush puny monsters into oblivion.

Thats all, Screw this game I going back to TWW2.

Reaper Leviathan is overrated

Imagine having to pay for a graphic option to see blood in a WAR game about one of the most grimdark insanely brutal fantasy universes in fiction history.

Hell the biggest catchphrase in the whole IP is ''Blood for the blood God! Skulls for the skull Throne!''
