Warhammer if he Left 4 Dead
And yes its awesome. Great graphics, the characters are surprisingly charming and extremely charismatic just like in Left 4 Dead. Each character plays different and has its own set of weapons. They are effectively classes. There's also a whole bunch of different weapons and equipments you can use to up the replay value. There's lots of little campaigns just like in left 4 dead. Its a great use of the Warhamme ip.
However I do have some problems with it. The enemy variety is serviceable. There's enough to feel the gap, but after beating 5 campaigns fighting the same enemies. It starts to get a little boring. And the devs have no excuse to not had added more enemy types. This is Warhammer we are talking about, not only are there tons of multiple types of Skaven. There's also many more other creatures. Such as Orcs, Chaos Demons and hell theres a whole campaign that takes place in Drachenfells which is supposed to be the domain of the Vampire Counts, its supposed to be filled to the brim with undead monsters and Vampires. But no, the entire campaign is just the skaven.......... Thats my only big problem with the game. Very poor enemy variety for too many missions.
I do also have one last problem with the game. This one is more personal, it doesn't really destroys the game for me, its just annoying. Why did the bright wizard had to be an old woman? through multiple different media and art, the bright wizard has always been depicted as male, why change that? to a very unappealing ugly woman no less. Stupid thing to do.

This game is pretty nice. Not sure why it gets so much hate. I guess its because the graphics are very underwelming. Otherwise its good. Its all about creating your own character and interacting with the world of Dragon Ball. There's a lot of customization. If you are a DBZ fan I highly recommend it.

If you see a dinosaur with glowing/bright skin, run and hide for your life. And if you can, kill it without any shred of mercy as a service to humanity. Growing up always loving dinosaurs and desiring to meet and get along with other people that also like dinosaurs. I've never could've imagine that the dino community could be THAT INSANELY HOSTILE. Especially considering the fact that they try to present themselves as all cute and quirky people. The truth couldn't be more disgusting.

The game itself is pretty good. But the community is garbage. Overun by psychopaths. Have a friend playing with you if you can, because you are going to need as much help as possible surviving the psycho glowing packs. Unfortunally, I got no one to play with me, I play solo because I love the concept of playing and surviving as a dinosaur. Also if you die, its probably going to be by a stupid unfair circumstance like you just happened to bump into one of the glowie psychos that are 10x times your size and theres nothing you can do but die. Everytime I got into a fight, or hunted down it was by whole packs that out sized me by at least 3 times. And there are like only 30/20 people playing in the official servers 80% of the time, which means that most of these people are discord gangs playing together, and if you are not part of the troonscord gang guess what? you will be killed on sight, there's no roleplaying as a dinosaur in this game. Its a team deathmatch game where there's only one team ruling and killing the few new players that are just trying to play. The situation is not that different in The Isle, but due to The Isle's popularity, there's alot more new people playing and much less discord gang dictatorship ruling compared to this.

I have yet to play more in order to make a fair review. But I can tell you why I will still keep playing JW Evolution 1.
First of all graphics. The graphics are obviously technically better here. But they are way too bright, I think they did that because this its supposed to be a ''Dominion'' game instead of just Jurassic World or Jurassic Park, so it has this extremely bright aesthetic. Which I think does not fit the theme and feel of Jurassic Park as a whole at all. While the first game has a darker tone which fits Jurassic Park just right.
2:Animation changes. Some animals from the first game had a animation rework, some animations have been completely cut. Some hadrosaurs don't walk on their fours anymore and constantly walk upright, I don't mind making them switch up between all fours and up right for variety's sake, but just making them move the ''new way'' is lazy and stupid. There used to be some animation differences between Troodon and the other ''raptor types'' dinos, these animation differences are gone now, they all move the same manner. Nigersaurus had his own animation set, now these animations have been cut and he moves exactly how the other hunched down sauropods move. Also the new hatch animations for the most part are not as cool and dramatic as the ones from the first game, there's a charm to the hatch animations of JWE1 that are still worth seeing.
3: Combat system, new combat is weird, I can't exactly say its a improvement over the first one which was bad already, I feel like the combat system here is just different and more buggy if anything. Now dinos will kinda circle around each other, sometimes they charge and from my experience, when they charge it gets very glitchy, most of the time they will just bump and clip over each other and run away afterwards without any fighting actually happening. And when they do fight, the big carnivores fight so fast its ridiculous, seeing giants like the T-Rex, Spino and Giga moving around like they weight the same as raptors is just cringe. Also guess what? same death animation for every carnivore except spino that gets a special animation over all the other ones. No especial animation for T-Rex, Indominous and Giga. Just spino, because the jp3 fanbase is the loud minority of the community that for the most part don't even like Jurassic Park at all I guess.
4: I.A, the I.A seens somehow even dumber than the one from the first game, the dinos here struggle way more to find food and water, and they mostly hang out around the same spot of the hatch. If you don't like to put food and water right in the face of your dinos because you assume they are going act like wild animals and use their sense of smell and eye sight to find food and water be prepared for a lot of deaths caused by starvation and thirst. Oh yeah forgot to mention, no feeders for herbivores in this one, gotta place the plants and trees they like, I don't mind this except that feeders would still be really helpful to deal with starvation being that most of my carnivores don't starve for the most part. Its really irritating and stupid.
5:Decorations, alot of missing decorations from the first game here, specially some cool trees that were present in the movies. That really pissed me off, not even the mods can't make up for the lack of those.
6:Mods, the original game still has some cool unique mods that game 2 hasn't replaced yet, I think the Ultimasaurus mod from JWE1 looks a thousand times better and scarier for example.
7:Layout and gameplay. Gameplay on game 1 is much more relaxing and so is the hud, the hud its pretty to look at, its easy to manage and understand everything while having enough time to enjoy your dinosaurs and park. The sequel has way too much micro management, to the point where you don't even have time to enjoy your park and dinosaurs because you are always too busy keep your park from bankruptcy.
8:The campaign mission from game 1 are actually fun to do. Very stupid sometimes, but they are comfy to play. While campaign missions on the sequel are just stupid and frustating to do.
So yeah, I will still be playing the first game since there's still reasons for doing so. JWE2 isn't a replacement, not by a long shot. Though will be playing more of JWE2 yet for a fair review. Its a good game and I'm glad it exists, its something to jump into after I finish dissecting JWE1, but just because JWE2 has more features doesn't mean the first one has become irrelevant.
