Because Krita is a free, open source and community-driven tool for artists, we encourage users to use any version that they want, on as many computers as they want, on any platform that they want, while spending any amount of money that they want to support the project as often or occasionally as they want.

On top of that, when it comes to Krita there's no boundary between artists and developers. Almost every member of our great community is some part artist and some part developer, and because Krita allows not only for python scripting but also full access to the program's source code, there is no limit to what mods, fixes or features that we can create as a community.

We make Krita together so that we can use Krita together. None of that would be possible without the support and contributions from our community, including people like you who support us through Steam, so I can only say, thank you!
