Its been 4 months since the release and the bug that makes it so you can't enable more than 3 mods in multiplayer because it'll always tell you that you have a missmatch with the host hasn't been fixed yet. Lemmie repeat that.. YOU CANT USE MODS THAT YOU WANT IN MULTIPLAYER. This is ridiculous. I bought the game with my friends and we can't even mod out the issues the game had since the release.

EDIT. Would you belive it? 8 months and still can't play mp with multiple mods. This is a JOKE!

EDIT. Woooo 10moths fixless. This is amazing. Something as basic as MP mods. Something that i thought couldn't be more of an issue than it alredy is in their different games.

Edit. its now 08.04.2024 would you belive that its still not fixed? I sure do.. I checked.. still broken.. I guess I won't be getting the game I paid for ever. It baffles me that people are not more upset with this. PS. You can do a workaround if both you and your friend have the game on the exact same directory. Same path, same disc etc. thats so stupid..

Sometimes you'll be able to join and have fun with your friends if the stars align. If you wanna do just that dont buy this game and expect it to just work..

its meh..

This is like rust, but without the action or fun of it. You can expect to do close to nothing for the war effort for the better part of 3 hours (because some idiot will use up your rescources for something useless). Or when you finally decide you've had enough you'll go fighting just to be one shot and loose all your eq. This game is for the most patient people out there. If you really really enjoy doing chores all day and you call that a game you'll enjoy this product. If you expect this to be fun otherwise you're in the wrong place pal.

I'll give this game a little more time and maybe i'll change my review.

This is literally rimworld but 3D (in all its glory like going underground and making dwarf-like strongholds) but without guns and space stuff. Is good.

I had a blast with Warhammer 1 and I had a blast with this game too. Basically? Just improved version with different factions. Is gut, get it.

-Shhhhhh my child for there is Mortal Empires and if you own both Warhammer II and I you well.. (You all should have seen it coming) YOU GET THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. CHILL IT OUT TAKE IT SLOW, THEN YOU ROCK OUT THE SHOW.

i expected a game where i can make an arena with interesting characters, give them weapons and watch them duel it out. Maybe do some SCP against D-class personel and watch them interact? Create a zombie apocalipse and watch survivors fight for surviva. Or create an alien planet that some space marines can invade and watch them fight it out in a bloody battle. Or maybe do some chemistry and watch how i can make things react to weird syringes. What i got is... well... Read the rest.
This game gained in popularity because of those damned Youtubers.
I bought it because i thought it was so much funner than it really is(and it was also 4 am so my decision making was a bit impacted). To start off, the game really doesnt get in-depth on many things it offers. To explain: You wont experience any sort of AI (if you wanted to do an arena and test things out) you won't experience any sort of building destruction as long as its not made entierly out of bricks(because wires can bug out if you make a construction that uses that kind of support) all you're left with in the end is a pretty fun "torture sim"... for like 40 mintues. I was really struggling to find anything interesting to do after that though.
You might think "But hey there are mods. Maybe i can squeeze out some interesting stuff to do out of them". And truth be told? Its barely true.. Don't get me wrong, there are really talented people out there that make mods, but the most you can get from it is like.. additional models to punch with more weapons or stuff. problem is.. They really do not differ at all. They're all static, they don't move unless you make em' and that gets boring fast unless you're really into playing with plastic soliders(but with phisics and some damage system) Needles to say.. I'm going to be refunding this game.

I can no longer recommend this game. It’s teetering on the edge of abandonware, with only a handful of insignificant patches released sporadically amidst long periods of complete silence from the development team. They seem utterly unwilling to address community concerns—almost as if they hold their players in contempt.

In fact, the sporadic updates have only made things worse, as they frequently break mods without introducing ANY improvements to the game.

More than half of the promised features remain unfinished even after four years, and some features that had started development appear to have been entirely abandoned. It feels like 98% of the development team has left, leaving just one person casually tinkering with the code to fix minor crashes instead of delivering meaningful updates.

Frankly, it feels like I’ve put more effort into writing this review than the developers have into their game for the better part of the year. Taleworlds, I am deeply disappointed. We’ve reached a point where even Paradox Interactive outshines you in both communication and game development, and that is absolutely mind-blowing.

Its a really good game focused on all sorts of semi-realistic mechanics(no health pool you can get one shotted if for egz. a well placed shot kills everybody from your crew). If you really like planes,tanks or ships from ww1/ww2/semi-up to date eras you will be delighted to play this.
that being said it has its issues:
-Grind later on
-(this has been adressed by allowing you to extinguish youreself once in "stock" vechicles) Ridiculous things such as tanks not having fire extinguishers when you buy them. You have to research them first.
