I'll start by saying that I have been playing this game on their launcher since Beta and that this is the first Fallout game that I have ever played. It's also a game that I can't decide if I like it or hate it. Some days are good and I'm having fun, but other days I think Todd can shove his game where the sun don't shine.

I have given it a thumbs up though because the game has had some major improvements since launch. There are less bugs in the game but you will still encounter them and there are some that have not been fixed for a long time. Some bugs are funny whilst others are downright infuriating (for example there is a re-spawn bug that does not allow you to re-spawn close by and forces you to go to vault 76 and pay caps to travel back to where you were).

Another issue has been with hackers and dupers in the game since launch and that is still ongoing. At the moment things have settled down again but it made playing the game stressful. Examples were hacks that allowed players to steal all your collectables/valuables, there were bugs that made your PA completely disappear that you couldn't get back and then there are the dupers who just made a lot of rare items really common and completely worthless.

If you can ignore those issues then the game can be fun for a time. I have enjoyed the new quests and stories that have been added in but the problem is once you have completed it then the end game is just basically repetitive grinding. You need to get treasury notes from events which you exchange for gold and then you can buy items. There are daily and weekly tasks that give you atoms for the atom store however this will be changing from the 30th June. You still can only hold a maximum of 30,000 caps so you are forced to spend them. There are plenty of plans to buy but I wonder what happens after someone has them all. Also I personally find the game is really only fun if you play with friends. I get bored if I'm on my own sometimes.

On a final note I would say if you can get the game cheap then you will get your monies worth on the quests and exploration alone. I do hope that Bethesda will keep adding more things to do and keep fixing bugs to improve the game.
