It's not false though, this was always mentioned in bright gold on the steam page. You can poke around reddit and see posts from 5 months ago, even before launch complaining about it with screenshots. This golden disclaimer is also right next to all the other important info people should be looking at like info on single/multiplayer, achievements, in-game transactions, family sharing, parental controls, and controller support.
