Ruined the stats page with this trash new update.
"Shows more relevant information" When in fact it shows LESS information and way less relevant/important information. Just a ♥♥♥♥ patch to try and force people into aimlabs+
Unfortunately a lot of bots play this ♥♥♥♥ so they don't seem to care much about the changes. But this latest patch was an absolute joke. Also 9.99 for AIMLABS premium? Are you guys high? There is nothing here that makes it remotely worth that price tag.

Another one of those situations where people could simply just NOT buy it or turn it off but yet want to complain. If you think this is cheating/p2w or any of the above, just turn it off? I mean...Whats the issue here? It's a single player game ffs. If someone else wants to pay a few bucks or use it with the deluxe edition who cares? It has NO impact on YOUR game play.
You don't like it? Turn it off. You can manage your DLC's and uncheck the box on steam. Boom all gone.

It's just another one of those games that is super fun, but you can tell right away it won't last. There isn't enough depth and there sure as ♥♥♥♥ isn't enough flashy plays to take it to an esports level. Sure, some goals can look cool when coordinated. But on average it's more of a mash buttons until you score scenario. Skill ceiling? Not very high. Again, mobile game at heart so naturally the options you'll have available will ALWAYS be extremely limited. Mobile games are always very toned down to make them easier to play/control from a phone screen. So in terms of LONGEVITY this ain't it chief.
It's a fun pick me up game for a few hours a week at most and something we'll all forget within 2 years. They took the whole ass game down for changes/fix the game and it's come out in honestly a much worse form and I can't imagine they'd take it down AGAIN and change things AGAIN. So this is most likely what we ended up getting stuck with after all that downtime and pulling the game offline.

Games already 50% down.
Game also has no plans on having cross play so their losing the LARGER chunk of people as a whole.
Extremely unbalanced.
Not supposed to be a "full clone" of OW but yet it is. Some Gundams are EXACT rips of OW characters down to exact abilities and way it works.
They had a great thing but it's over already.

Game is fantastic especially FOR FREE and from a small indie company in the middle of a war torn situation currently.

A lot of the negative reviews stem from certain things not working. The devs have fixed a decent portion of those issues and continue to work hard on fixing the game further. People however seem to not care that there is an entire war happening AND the game clearly states Early access AND it's FREE. I can understand complaining about betas/early access as "Excuses" for bad/rushed games but this game is FREE. It cost you nothing to try and if something doesn't currently work or you don't like something in it's current form you can always come back later at no cost again. I don't understand writing a negative review when all those things above are present here.
Another huge positive for me is the devs are actively against P2W/Pay 2 progress or anything of that nature. Now if that'll remain the case we'll have to see (lots of companies promise this and don't deliver.) Obviously there will be a shop in the future for cosmetics and stuff along those lines but it will have no impact on the game play.
Overall in it's current state and being from an indie company along with the current world situation they are facing, I'd give the game an 8/10. Has tons of bugs/graphical issues but they are being worked on ferociously and on a regular basis. They also listen to community feedback regularly and have made/are making a few changes that overall reduce grind and make the game more fun for people who don't have as much time. There will still be a decent grind involved but almost half of what it currently is for mods.

The premium store and battle pass aside (I don't care about micro's I earn enough) The game is just bad. The multiplayer is hardly anything especially in modern day, it's a joke.
Then they say well, it's single player game first! Which was not the initial pitch. The whole thing surrounding the game was MMO. Just having others exist in the same world is hardly the definition of ANY MMO. The few things you can do together are better off just done alone to save time. Unless both of you are vigilant about doing things fast then you'll almost always move/get things done faster solo. It has no incentive playing with others at all.
I've played a decent enough amount of time to tell you DO NOT buy this game for $45. If it goes on sale down to 15 then maybe. But do go in knowing it'll be a 95% solo experience and the story is completely forgettable and bad/cringe. The game visually is nothing good either so don't expect anything good looking. Most tems are not very "cool" looking and was very underwhelmed by the design of almost all of them. Luma hunting (shiny) is at least a noticeable upgrade from Pokemon/other monster capture games because they come with the same stats so when you catch one of that Tem you know what your getting.
**TLDR**
Buy it at $10-15 max, and most likely it will go F2P sooner than later anyway so if you wait might just save money completely. The overall game isn't polished, story is bad, visual fidelity is mediocre for this day and age with so many development tools for smaller companies. Few improvements over Pokemon but overall way more dull in every way.

Masterpiece
Me and my girlfriend play this together regularly. It's one of the few games we can enjoy together because she doesn't really game very much. But she actually enjoys this type of game. I wouldn't say we've progressed super far yet but we're taking our time doing it.
Really hope the game grows further and maybe gain the ability to hire some folks to help and push out even more quality content.

**Here to just say...Told you so...:) Original review is from August and it all still holds 100% true.**

Devs are obsessed with tons of character releases instead of content or game improvement. A new character every 2 weeks or even once a month is WAY TOO many. Especially when the core game has tons of issues and servers are still horrid.
No new additional modes since launch. I understand not wanting to release ranked while there are issues but they haven't released ANY new modes at all. And honestly they SHOULD just push out ranked. Even if they slap a Beta tag on it and make it a very short season. Just so people can experience the system and leave feedback. Or else when it finally does arrive, it could work like crap and then we have to wait for them to fix it.
They honestly don't learn. Every single character release so far has LOST players. The numbers spike for the release day and a little the second day, then they immediately TANK and drop below the previous average. So it only boosts numbers for 2 days and then ultimately LOSES more players then it had before. So new characters are literally making the game LOSE players.
It's not even up for debate. The steam charts speak for themselves. Every 2 days after a character release the total players drop lower than they were before character. Yes, I know those aren't the only players. But in general if ONE platform is on a downwards trend, the others follow.

Very easy game about to 100% everything very soon. Even going off meta builds only adds slight challenge. Either way still a great time killer and fun overall. And considering it's extremely cheap you don't lose anything giving it a try anyway.
