So starting off with specs and then into the experience. RTX 2080, Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core processor clocked at 4.70GHz, b650 Gigabyte, DDR5 32gigs clocked at 3000MHz.

I do very few of these reviews unless I feel its worth it. So what does stalker 2 do good? audio and visuals are stunning, even on medium settings this game looks good. Audio and atmosphere development is fantastic! gun play feels crisp and good, upgrading and repairing is very simple and rewarding. Game feels like the old stalker games while also feeling new, models are the same but refreshed with the new visuals. Voice acting is just as phenomenal as the visuals and audio. Map is huge and offers a lot to explore and find.

Whats bad about the game? Well despite the specs which allow me to play star citizen really well, seems to struggle in this game, so optimisation is a problem, this is not meant for low end machines. Another glaring issue is the map markers, specifically main quest markers: frequently disappear when close to the objective and since finding some items isn't immediately obvious within the area, obj markers are absolutely necessary otherwise you will wonder in an area for an hour or so. But so far that is the ONLY problematic bug iv encountered.

To summarise, the game does in my experience everything really well that it does right and for the most part the game is done really well, looking past all the bugs and performance issues id give this game a 10/10 or 9/10. but with the faults it does have it feels more like a 7/10 or 6/10. since everyone doesn't have a high end PC i can understand the issues of performance issues. Best course of action is to wait for bugs/performance issues to be ironed out if bugs or low end pc is an issue for you. If you can work around those, i would strongly suggest adding this game to your roster as i am having a blast!

Well CIG CEO is known to have terrible spending habits, they raised over 800 million for star citizen from the earnings of the store front. Not to mention their dev team is divided between SC and their solo campaign squadron 42. And thank you for the kindness good sir, always happy to help inform folks when and where i can :). PS played some more stalker, got even BETTER. So invested!

Unfortunately that is good for Star citizen terms, star citizen is still a massively un-optimised pile of shit at the moment. Its fun when it works, it sucks when it doesnt, and at the moment there just isnt enough to it to be enjoyable at the moment. Till they can get their massive projects like server meshing out the way the game will be like that for a long time. sorry to burst your bubble. only way to make it more playable than you already have is to invest into a 20k system.
