Warning: Review does contain New Vegas storyline spoilers!
Side Note: This is a review in progress I am planning to edit this in the future.

Well, Fallout New Vegas. Bottom line is, this game is a masterpiece. I know that the quality control of Bethesda dropped when they gave obsidian the role of coding New Vegas and there are a lot more graphical problems and some game breaking glitches. But whether you like a game or not you must look past a games faults. I passionately play the fallout franchise. I clocked this game 4 times on Xbox 360, once on hardcore. I couldn't stop. I love getting lost in a role playing character whether I take on the persona of a caring wasteland dweller, helping the civilisations inhabitants or a psychotic manic with no respect for anyone. This is what makes me love fallout so much. Not only is the story for the games amazing but the setting is even better. Something about post-apocalyptic scenarios just get me like no other. Now I will admit, the combat and features in New Vegas are a huge step up from Fallout 3. The ability to have full iron sights is a huge improvement as well as a further extension to the crafting system. New weapons and modifications mean that there is a lot more variety for players to arm themselves the way they want, whether that be a large mini-gun with extended magazines to douse an attacking party in bullets, or a simple stock upgrade which shaves a few kilograms off the weight. To be perfectly honest if you want to play a fallout game for a story, pick 3 over NV any day. The NV storyline is rather short and the final battle at Hoover Dam, no matter who you side with, once you have completed the finale you will be sent back to your last save before the battle. I really disliked this, as it wouldve been great to continue on after the cut scene, in which the narrator has finished explaining how which actions you took affected the wasteland. If you side with Caesar's Legion, the narrator will explain how the legion took over the strip and practically wiped out the NCR from Vegas, so it would have been great to roam the fully Legion controlled Vegas, while in the streamlined game the NCR have control of around 70% of the map.
All in all if you want more from what you got from Fallout 3, purchase this game and its dlc's you will not be disappointed!
