By far the best game i've ever played. A good mix between life action combat such as chivalry, mixed with tactics and conquest such as total war. The game is also easily moddable which gives you a reason to play the game over and over again. Some commendable mods are: A Clash of King (Game of Thrones mod), Genkokujo (Japan around 1600, also my favourite mod) and Phropesy of Pendor (A original made mod with cultural influences from old European empires and kingdoms).
