Early Access Review
For a Social VR Platform that is only a couple years old, it is impressive how far they've come, and how quickly they responded to the recent influx of new players. While the game is still in need of many features, the impression I have had from the dev team and the game so far makes me very optimistic towards this game's future.

It already has many QoL features, such as:
A proper content tagging system for avatars, worlds, and props that the user can filter
A prop system
A few different IK settings
Advanced safety settings
Positive attitude towards mods
Easy to use and feature-full Content Creation Kit
Quick transitioning between worlds
And much more I cannot be bothered to sit here and spend ages listing off.

The dev team is willing to bite the bullet in order to improve their game sooner, rather than leaving things broken for months like some other Social VR platforms; and example of this being their recent decision to shut down the servers so they could implement fixes and new back-end server software so they could provide their players with a more stable experience once they got the servers back up; which from my experience has worked wonders.

The bottom line is Chillout VR is already a good experience for it's age, and has a team of good-intentioned and smart developers behind it that treat their growing community well.

If you want to move over to Chillout VR from another Social VR platform, but are afraid to because it's not where your friends are my advice is to move over anyways; by moving over to CVR you give your friends a reason to move over too.
