I think I can safely say that my previous comment regarding the state of X4 is no longer applicable. It is now great and has been for some time. It did take them long enough to get it right though!

If you are gonna get X4, wait until it's less than a tenner. It's pretty bad imo. A lot of the ships are copy paste and they are as fugly as satans mother. And the bugs!! fk me gently. Most side missions I have encountered are broken. Like tryinbg to claim a ship to recover as a mission. The game tells you to go claim it in your space suit but it's broken, so you have to ignore the game and send a marine to claim it instead. The PHQ is also ♥♥♥♥♥♥ as you can't pick wehere you want to place modules, the game decides where you can place. You might have 5 available slots but perhaps only two will accept a module. So disappointed and still broken 2 years after release.
