Geting quickscoped with AK 47 at +60 distance

When i compare DOW 2 Retribution to Dawn of war SoulStorm or Dark Crusade
Its realy weak..... and here is sumarized, when compared to previus real RTS titles


GAMEPLAY:
- Direct de-grade, lesser ammount of races
- Symetrical boring Skrimish, there are no choke points ussualy, so you need to fight at 6 Fronts
- 100 pop cap is joke, if you play as some swarm factions like IG or TY, you will get 3-5 Squads, and thats litteraly all you can afford
- While its new in DOW 2 that there are no base building, it accualy SUCKS, there are no mean of real resource management in future, in DOW 1 i will think twice for what i will save for !
In DOW 2 Retribution i dont realy think about it due to begin everything very easy accesable

GRAPHICS:
- Graphic over gameplay there are lot of unnessesary nice stuff, if it isnt priority as i can see the game could be smother and could even handle bigger pop cap

MODING:
- Somehow no good mods exist for Retribution, possibly Relic dont want mods so people will get bored from game

SKIRMISH AND MULTIPLAYER:
- Skirmish is directly stripped out of features, there are no good stuff like additional modes (Like total anhilitation aka destroy anything,even units to win

AI
- AI is degraded, its use its super brain even less than in DOW1
- AI dont know what is self preservation, in DOW 1 if AI is gona lose he will flee and build his HQ again, somewhere far
If AI got Allie, it will go and build in his base if there is free space, such human behavior i havent saw EVER in any game.
- AI dont give a crap when you need help, in DOW 1 i ussualy saw how Allies immidieality change their direction when i am under attack

UNITS AND ARMY PAINTER:
-I liked DOW 1 Army painter more.....
- Units look cool but they are barely making 50% of what was in previus titles...... where are most of units for IG ? Where are Priests ? where are Psykers ? where are Basilisks ?
-Some units would looks cool and nice if they ever been to game (Namely Necrons and Kroots would be very eye candy in modern graphics)

CAMPAIN:
-Its horrible repetive broken crap, i cant somehow save, but i dont care, i done campain with Nyds, my commander didnt died even once lol
- DOW 1 DC a SS meta maps were true meaning how DOW campains should looks like, not this repetive crap. I rather play some skirmish maps, if they raise pop cap.... and make some normal maps that are not symetrical like clones.

89% of people plays as sharpshooter, one hit kill across entire map, Sharpshooters are reason why i dont want to play this game ANYMORE
11% strange lag spikes that froze me, but it happen only to client, not server

Overall PLEASE MODERS REMOVE SHARPSHOOTER
other thing the game is good, just another Minecraft clone that beat him on all fronts

Awesome game, but still not good as RA2 + yuri s revenge
I bought this mainly for Challenge option like general chalenge and for new units that are better than all old ones
New units
Soviet
Reaper (a sickle big brother, with rockets and mortars)
Desolator (RA2) a man in heavy suit spraying toxins that turn people to green blobs
Grider tank (tank that crush anything, even on sea)
Mortal bike (A mortal bike with Mortar/Molotov)
Empire
Archer maiden ( a women with energy bow, good against all units expect submered ones, but slow reload
Steel Ronin (something like king Oni, but cheaper and have melle attack only

United states (aka allies)
Cryo legionare (heavy infatry with AOE fast frozing gun, few of them could stop a squad of apokalyps in few seconds, he can walk over water)
X-1 (a huge Anti ground unit, use neutron weapon that anhilate any existing vehicle, strongest vehicle unit in game)
Harbringer
OP unit with particcle disctruptor cannon, its heavy gunship that also have MG on infatry, doesnt need to return to airfield and he also repairs himself in air, 4 of them and you can finish weak enemy in few minutes

Also they get Indirect artillery, shooting shells on distance, need to deploy to fire, while he is mobile he is armed with heavy machine gun
This expansion miss Multiplayer, for Multiplayer, buy RA3

Now "General challenge"
Like this gamemode like in CNC Zero hour
At begging you start only with standart units (like as Soviets you didnt start with twinblades...tesla troopers)
You unlock them as reward after some challenges
Each Scenarion is unique, hard as f.u.c* (Often)

Long,, i dont know: Exaple Second challenge (reward Archer maiden) it eta: time was 10 minutes to finish, i made it in 1 hour and 13 minutes the hell who the hell made the rekord time (Maibe Satan, thus he works in EA)

I needed to spam stingrays, bullfrogs thus Archers maiden are both anti infatry and anti just they can attack almost anything
My Cheeks burns as hell when i made it

Another exaple: Kenji, nano core (defensive scenarion) i lose as soviet, stingrays are too weak agains Empire turrets, land way was suicide
So i switched to allies and i won that
Diffrent army for diffrent job

Good starting units in challenge
SU
Sting ray (Tesla weapons are good against infatry and vehicles,ideal attack unit until you get artillery or apokalypses

Consripts and flak troopers, your bread and butter, most versile unit you got from start
Until you get Tesla troopers to replace Flak trooper or Desolator to replace constripts

Bullfrog, mobile anti aircraft,very usefull,best as companion to sting rays

Hammers and sickles, on earlyer scenarions enemy ussualy dont deploy heavy units, so hammer can destroy ussualy all vehicles, and sickles are good against slow shooting units

Allies

hidrofoil, butcher to aircraft, cheap and can disable weapons of bigger enemies

Guardian tank (same as hammer function)

Peace keepers and Javelin rocket soldiers, are less usefull to use in attack, but when combinaeded with INF, you can get usefull combinations

Later in game
Destroyer, heavy armored, strong cannon that hurt infatry more than guardian tank gun
Also can attrack nearby fire to himself

Empire

Mecha tengu, your air recon, Aircraft/Infatry fighter

All soldiers are usefull when rightly used

Empire must use his mobility (aka mobile turrets, deployed in right positions, can be very decimating

Later:

VX striker, best unit i got, when in big number, they decimate Consc. Yard and all factories and flee away (in early scenarions enemy dont have Anti aircraft defence)


Recomened to anyone who like Red alert, and also for those who wana challenge

Maps: After MOW, probably the worst lazy maded maps i ever saw 1/10
Comunity: First time i played this, i threw Frag grenade and killed Adolf Hitler
Wow, such nazi fans..... 2/10

And it gains award..: Half baked bread !
This can be saved.....

Good game it looks like Iron Grip warlord (RTS+FPS)
One thing i dont like is dying comunity of this game, not much player plays it

10 X better than minecraft

Best RPG on steam that i ever played
with all 3 DLC' is skyrim even more better

iT WAS fun till Fnaf come... now i fear to play it...
