Whilst it's not a perfect game, it's still an excellent remake which does a simple yet solid job at one thing: retelling widely considered a masterpiece of a horror game while using modern technology.
Currently it's the only legal way (well, besides buying PS2 and the original game which would surprise you how expensive it is nowdays) to enjoy the story.
If you aren't a purist who will smack their lips on literally every change that the remake made or if you don't mind some minor flaws that shouldn't affect your experience, it's worth your shot, even at its full price .

Remember kids: always read the manual.

This Ratchet game really makes you feel like your computer is going Clank.
10/10 experience would break my PC again

In comparison to the first game, it's an improvement almost in all regards.

But honestly may the force be with your PC, because this game may slaughter it like Anakin the younglings.

While the game does a remarkable job at recreating the world of HP franchise, in the end of a day it offers a rather shallow experience with cardboard one dimensional characters, forgettable story and very repetitive gameplay.

If you are a HP fan, consider buying it on sale. If not: don't bother wasting your money and time.
