Early Access Review
I don't really know what to think of this. While the concept is cool (creating your own echosystem using machine learning), the execution leaves me feeling frustrated most of the time. Maybe adding some tutorial videos showcasing all the different buttons and functions would help to ease in new players, or having an in depth wiki that one could read through while idling.

With that being said, it is a unique experience and something I want to explore further.

It was absolutely broken at launch. Was thinking about going back and giving it a shot now that they've patched it, but never for 70$.

This is an absolute gamechanger for low spec hardware. I'm able to hit a solid 60fps in pretty much every game, compared to the stuttering 25-60 while running natively.

The only downside is that you will experience artifacts at lower refresh rates, and on a 60hz monitor they will be very noticeable. Considering the insane fps boost this is a small price to pay imo.

This feels like an early access title. The regular patches introduce more bugs than they fix and all your loadouts and cosmetics get wiped with every new patch. This is nowhere close to a finished product and not worth full price.

I bought this hoping for a fun arcade racer / destruction derby that I could pick up for a couple of minutes at a time, but It's just too much of a grind with how they've set up the currency and upgrade system. You get a small amount of cash the first time you complete a race, and after that you have to qualify in third, second, or first place in order to get more. This boils down to the following loop: After you have completed the first two circuits you are temporarily locked out from the rest of the content until you get enough followers. The fastest way to get more followers is to qualify in the races. To qualify in the races you have to upgrade your car, but you can't upgrade your car without any money. So you grind the same maps over and over to recieve a small ammount of followers each race, slowly chipping away to unlock the next circuit. This quickly becomes tedious and boring.

In short, I don't consider this to be a "bad" racing game, just porly structured.

This is all you will ever need for recording, both in-game and desktop. The Steam client also syncs if you're using the OBS standalone client, so you don't have to reapply any of your settings.

This would be a great suplement to an "intro to programming" course. While not exactly teaching the exact syntax, you do get a good grasp of how a programming language is structured. You also get to practice "real world" problem solving using code. I went in with only knowing the bare minimum of c#, and within the span of an hour I was writing basic functional scripts. Would highly recommend this to anyone who is thinking about getting into coding, or to anyone who enjoys logic puzzles and problem solving in general.

As it stands right now, if you plan on playing alone; wait for sale or a major patch. Every game is a 50/50 experience; sometimes you get paired with a great team and steamroll through the content with no technical issues; other times you get 3 randos running around like headless chickens, desyncs up the gazoo, an inconsistently large number of special ridden spawns in relation to normals (even on the lowest difficulty), and just generally bad connectivity issues. Also take into account that the 60$ pricetag is only giving you access to the game as is; you get none of the future content.

All in all, it is a fun co-op experience, brought low by technical issues and poor marketing strategies.
