Game was a fantastic time and a fairly good story for a retro styled horror/sci-fi game. The characters were well written and the ambience and feel of the game is great the only downside is the game is 2 hours long so fair warning there is not a whole lot of content but for what you get it was a good experience

Fantastic cross between the play styles of Metal gear and Resident evil with a cool anime sci-fi atmosphere that really works. Game was super enjoyable and the right amount of challenging. There were moments that are a little confusing as the game has German, Japanese and english text throughout the game and it can be a bit confusing at times but that is really the only complaint. The game is a really fun, story driven Isometric shooter with alot of flare and nuance, highly recommend.

Started playing this tonight and i am hooked, the game is a great time the right amount of challenging for a stylised fps roguelike. If this had a multiplayer mode with a lobby ship and slightly bigger ships to dock based on amount of players it would be even more incredible, the lack of multiplayer is probably this games only downfall. The game is fun, challenging, a little silly and paced fantastically. easy to learn hard to master etc with plenty of things to bring you back to another playthough. Worth a buy.

this is exactly the kind of game i have been waiting for, this is what made NFS underground 1 and 2 so popular, capturing that 90-2000s street racer vibe perfectly with a bit of an analog vibe makes for a good time. The game has a few flaws here and there with the systems but the car customisation and racing is super fun and really enjoyable. I really hope the dev takes the lightning they have captured in a bottle here and runs with it, I would gladly pay for a full game. Perhaps seek out the help of a publishing company who are willing to fund it because you got something here for sure and I would love to see it on a larger scale.

I just finished playing the early access portion of the game today, so this review is based on what i have been able to play so far.

I will start off by saying the game runs extremely well and has Incredibly smooth controls, this is complimented by fantastic audio and design with the game returning with visuals that are a mix of 3d/2d with your stylised comic book noir enemies in a stunning hand crafted 3d environment and as usual the game absolutely nails the comic book aesthetic.

This sequel is a huge step up from the original game in basically every way so if you enjoyed forgive me father 1 you are gonna love this.

Every environment feels dark gritty and it always gives you a sense of danger lurking at every corner. The music goes hard when you get thrown into a heavy gunfight and is spooky and ominous when you are exploring the halls and corridors creeping through the fog and darkness wondering when the next fight is going to be.

The gun play feels fun and easy to control with a customisable inventory you can unlock as you play and explore the levels. Most weapons feel pretty meaty and fun to use except for the rifle which is an almost useless pea shooter that a lot of the time feels like it does nothing, you will find yourself opting for the pistol and the shotgun the majority of the time to swiftly deal with enemies.

The one major annoyance i could continually complain about is the flashlight mechanic which is a kinetic pull rope flashlight that feels like more of an annoyance and a chore than something that feels useful to have as you have to sit still for a moment give it a few pulls to get it back to full charge every few minutes, keep in mind this is not too much of an issue later on as most later levels are fairly well lit up and for the most part you use it more sparingly later on.

I really look forward to seeing more of the game as time goes on but for now i would definitely recommend giving it a go if you are a fan or the original or games similar, the devs have a great game on their hands here.

I have currently reached the end of the early access of the game and i need to say that this game was unexpectedly good i feel like the pictures and videos don't do it justice. if you like doom, quake and other fast paced shooters this is going to be a game you will enjoy although there are a few flaws such as a lack of ammo for weapons sometimes leaving you punching large enemies and risking a lot of damage and sometimes the movement can be too fast for it's own good when it comes to some of the platforming sections of the game. The game itself has a lot of good things on offer, fun gunplay, great soundtrack, interesting story if you are into that but the visuals feel and look good for the most part but they could be a little better on the guns but for the most part the game looks and runs pretty well. so far i feel it is a solid 6.5/10 with a few additions and updates i am sure it can go higher when compared to other shooters in the genre.

got the game in a humble bundle and have been thoroughly surprised by how fun it is, the game is a fast paced rogue like arena shooter with a very nice feel to it. The only down side is i wish there was more to the game, i hope the developer keeps working on the game and makes it something special, heck even maybe throw in some 2 man co op could be fun to play this with another person like returnal. solid foundation and great game play with a pretty damn good soundtrack to go with it. i look forward to more.

33 hours in with a friend and this is one of the most fun co-op games you can get for the price on steam, it's not too hard but not too easy, the progression doesn't feel too slow or too fast.
The game has some fun mechanics, fights and environments.
The building system has some restrictions to it which feel a bit off but aren't too bad but resource collecting can feel pretty tedious even with upgraded gear, but other than that a solid experience so far.
The game does feel like it would of benefited from a jump mechanic but it's not super important, but being a vampire and not being able to leap up a cliff after leaping down a cliff to kills some humies feels a little lame.
earning skills and abilities and learning what to swap and use is fun and rewarding also, could go on but you should find out for yourself.
I have seen the reviews talking about the game being a slog late game in the last 1/3 of the game so i will have to find out.

TLDR: game is fun with friends and worth the money, would recommend 8/10.

An all time favourite with a few new twists and it is just as fantastic as ever! the gameplay, mechanics and visuals as well as sound is just what you have come to expect from the CIV series, the whole game feels solid as ever with a few new mechanics to toy with and visuals that appeal to a wide audience, the attention to detail and dedication to the background of every civ is what makes this game great!

I have attempted to refund this game twice... the first time i refunded it they said no so i tried to get my monies worth somehow at that point i was 4 hours in and any expectations i had for the game had been crushed and destroyed by the liars who made this game and showed all the video trailers and talked it up for so damn long the game is rubbish and basically a void of nothing but repeating the same damn ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing over and over you could of just bought starbound or spore and had a good time.

I HAVE TRIED TO REFUND AGAIN BUT STILL NO! WHY STEAM GODS! WHY! this game is trash plain and simple the entire game is one big fat lie, someone please help me get this refunded jesus christ!
