Fun game but require you to work together. Can at time be a pretty hard game.
Best played with friends.

Steep learning curve, but, it is well worth the time it takes to learn.
If you like the older Battlefield games and also like milsim games. This is most certainly for you.
Communication is key in this game!

I really really liked this.
Just the thing that you had to find books to read to get to know what ingredients you need etc etc.
'It can feel a bit "stale" sometimes but it didnt bother me too much.

Played it both here and on playstation. Even if i would reccomend it is just not my cup of tea. I liked the other Dark souls games but somehow never liked this one. It is not a bad game tho.

Finally a good quality game for those who loved the old rainbow six/swat games.
This is what i have been waiting for.
It's got a bit left to go but could (and hopefully will) turn out to be something even more beautiful in the sim genre.
The coop works really good and brings forth the good old slow paced gameplay where communications are key.
They keep adding and updating all the time. And to the better.
Attention to detail is really good in this game too.

With all the updates and improvements it is getting it is just getting better and better.

Would i recommend?
Both yes and no.
As an action game? Sort of.
A stealth game? Barely.
As a Hitman game? Absolutely not.
Gunplay. Weapons feels fine and fun, the effects and sounds allso is kind of ok.
If you plan on just fool around, some stealth, some run and gun and stuff like that. Sure, you can have fun.

But there are som many flaws really.
The stealth feels really really "effy" and uneven at times.
It is really dumbed down comparing to what it used to be.
The disguise part is just horrible.
The difference is that it just takes longer for the NPC with the same outfit to recognize you.
Stealth have simply revets to sneaking from cover to cover and occasionaly throwing something to distract a guard or two.
The stealth doesnt feel "smart" anymore.
Longer in to the game i just lost all insentive and started shooting to to finish some areas.



The levels are from time to time big. But at the same time manages to feel like a corridor and very linear.
Levels are devidied into "areas". For example area A B and C.
You finish area A, thhen go throughh a door. Then you get to area B.
Even if you rasied hell and every alarm possible, Area B is still totally unaware of what happened.
And you cannot go back either.



Most often it feels like there is a certain way it is meant to be played, if you do not play it this way you end up getting punished severely sometimes.
And by punished i mean screwing up.
And that brings me to the otrher major part.
If you screw up, at leas i tend to reload because i want to play it stealthy for exampe.
You cannot quick save.
This game goes simply by checkpoints.
Wichh could get on you nerves quite a lot.
Say you activate a checkpoint, then you continue on playing stealthy, almost making it. You make it almost to the end and then screw up. Congratulations, all that is now undone and when you reload you realise you hhad that checkpoint so faar back that at least i plenty of times just stoped playing for the time.
Everythhing you have done is undone, unless you found/hit another checkpoint.

Sometimes you encounter a certain place or door you have to go throughh and thhat is blocked by guards. You have to sneak up there, listen to a dialogue, then they walk away, opening up the path for you to sneak along to.
If you screw up after that and reload, you have to listen to that again.
Sometimes when you reload a checkpoint, it is not thet way you got there.
Then the guards already have started patroling and stuff like that and you have lost the opportunities you had when first getting there for example.
Also many checkpoints are awfully placed.

The "freedom" of going about the way "you" want to play the game feels more restrictive the further into the story you get. At least that was how i felt.
And also the score system.
It feels hevily leaning towards perfect runs witout disguise and knockouts and all the other stuff.

You get punished for everytghing basically.
Wich makes it even more feeling towards the linear play.

It feels like the devs fundamentally misunderstood what the Hitman series is about and made it good.

It almost feels like a game with te "option of stealth", as many games offer, but at the same time punishing you for not using stealth.

The levels feels more towards Splinter cell where almost everybody tinks you suspicious and are an enemy NPC than the older games.
A lot of levels is just filled with NPC you ave to avoid.
Even when you have their disguise.

Absolution (for me) is only Hitman game in thhe title and lost its "soul" that made Hitman the game it was.
