A big potential but falls short for me on a lot of reasons.
Flimsy, a bit toxic and, well, the feeling is not quite "there" for me.
War of the roses and For Honour did the combat better.

Not really my type of game.
Started out as a mod for Arma two. And where Arma 2 went on, and later released Arma 3, the mod followed.
And as the stand alone game it still feels like a mod, and not at all a good one either.

This was absolute garbage, really.
First day of launch a guy stood at the roof of a car, no-scope 180 guys from across the map.
He was like a tornado. Cheating of course.
That set the bar pretty darn low, but it seems they never climbed over it with this one either.

No. This was not it for COD.

Completed it on konsole but also had to buy it and play a bit on PC a while later.
Still really good.
It set a gold standard, really.
The fighting mechanic can be at times really good and fulfilling and at times it really shows it needs some work on it.
All in all, this is Assassins Creed. But as batman.
And instead of a swift kill they end up with a broken nose and several other broken limbs XD

Well, this sort of splits me in half regarding an AC game.
As an AC game? No, not really.
As a Pirate game? Oh yes.
It does bouating around being a pirate well.
Really fun roaming the seas and pestering the ships.
But what it does make up in that part, it lacks in the assassins creed part of the IP.
If you fell in love in AC for climbing big buildings, running around in cities, trolling guards, and most of all, getting that really well thought out assassination on the target. This is not for you.
AC sort of lost it's soul with AC 3, and it does not get better with Black flag.

Having played it on Xbox when it first came out i can only say that it got me hooked.
Still to this day this game is one of my darlings i hold high up.

Fun little game. There are a lot of things to do.
Well designed.

It's a Milsim game.
It does what it does best. Being Arma ;)

A refreshing wind if you like the AC games.
I do like the Nemesis system brings a lot to the table, and does it good.
