WARNING: Nostalgically biased review.

THE GOOD:
> it's a classic
THE BAD:
> shut up - it's a classic
THE UGLY:
> I first played this game on a 25MHz 386 with no sound and it was amazing, and it's a classic

THE DETAIL:

I did get a better PC and a half-decent SoundBlaster one day, and I played it again, and loved it all over again. I even played it on an Android while travelling on public transport years later again.

I didn't mind the sequel either. That's a thing now. You could just skip straight to that then come back here for the backstory- it's all good.

Still, play it. It's a classic. ;)
