Still the G.O.A.T of the FPS genre after all these years

>installing STALKER 2: "We're so back"
>finding out it runs like dogwater, even on low settings: "It's so over"
>finally managing to make the game run at a somewhat stable framerate after a whole day of fumbling with settings and installing some fan made fixes: "We're so back"

It feels unreal that this game even got released. I remember being really bummed when it was initially cancelled in 2012, but here I am now playing it. 12 hours in and I still haven't left the first location as I'm mostly doing side quests, looting stashes, hunting artifacts, exploring or just hanging out with other stalkers by the campfire. Apart from the poor optimization my other complaints would be the enemy squads randomly spawning behind your back (it's especially annoying when you're trying to go back to the base with backpack full of loot), day and night cycle passing too quickly and repairing your stuff costs fortune. However, the devs already said that a huge patch is on the way as we speak, so I'm hoping all of these issues will be ironed out.

I'm going to edit this review after finishing the game to give my final thoughts.

HARD CORE TO THE MEGA

Grimdark, but instead being some cool badass marine mowing down hordes of enemies, you're just one of the few (un)lucky survivors trying to scavenge and stay alive. I absolutely love the atmosphere, aesthetics and music in this game. Yes, the gameplay is janky. Yes, it is unoptimized currently. But I'm willing to give devs the benefit of the doubt for now, because they are trying to fix the bugs fast. Overall I'd say the game has a potential to turn into something amazing in the future and I'm willing to continue playing it despite the flaws.

-Muszę właśnie po to, żeby ta pani mogła rano iść do sklepu i kupić sobie świeże bułki, wędliny itd.

NieR Automata to dzieło sztuki, choć nieidealne, bo było parę momentów, gdzie gra mnie strasznie wkurzała. A to jeden side quest wymagał idealnego refleksu (którego nie posiadam), a to jak chciałeś wykonać sobie kilka zadań za jednym razem, to okazało się, że jeden z questów anuluje pozostałe (i musisz czekać do momentu jak gra udostępni Ci możliwość rozpoczęcia rozgrywki od dowolnego rozdziału, żeby pokończyć brakujące zadania). No ale to wszystko są drobne bzdurki, które nie psują obrazu całości. Kocham tę grę, bawiłem się świetnie i na pewno będę mógł ją zaliczyć do grona moich ulubionych.

Świetna przygodówka z piękną grafiką, wyborną muzyką i uroczymi robotami. Gra jest dosyć krótka i zagadki nie są zbytnio skomplikowane, więc jeżeli ktoś nie ma doświadczenia z przygodówkami point & click, to jest to dobra pozycja, aby zacząć.
