Only on a deep deep discount. Even half off I felt like I spent too much.
But lets get started:

The Good
Graphics: Quite nice. I do like the trailing fire, scale feels good with out NILPS turned on.
Voice acting, the "professional under stress" theme really shines through.

The bad:
Controls, or rather navigation of units, even affter updates there will be cases where your units just wont DO what you tell them to do.

The ugly:

The story. The 14 listed writers really show. The story is... all over the place.
Sands and Sinners, the whole script could have used an editing pass. The villian's goal is nonsensical, the ending is just WTF?

Homeworld 1 and 2 and Cataclysm had characters but they were pretty explicitly a story about its people.

Here its a story way more about Karan, Imogen, and the BBEG

They tried to sequel/DLC bait but frankly I think this franchise is dead. Thanks for this absolute garbage of a cap to a trilogy of otherwise great games.

Homeworld Mobile had a better story than this!

A great start for newcomers into the series.

Honestly if you're looking for a zombie game this will probably stratch that itch.

My issue with it is that I... really dont care about any of the characters. I'm maybe about a 3rd of the way in and not one character gives me any reason to give a ♥♥♥♥ about.

Catch it on sale.

If caught on sale a very enjoyable action game.

The writing is great especially in terms of the personal story though weirdly the campaign sometimes has snippets of "Marvelification" if you will.

Its like the story was both trying to be serious and quirky.
Graphics get the job done.

Movement though especially out of combat movement is... strange. You'll get stuck on the smallest stuff and precise movement can be an absolute pain

Great narrative.
Good store management.

That being said late game bugs are.. Strange. Primarily visual but there's some cases where a premium customer will just show up again? And just stand in place. Cant interact with them other than "come back at a different time."

But otherwise still very enjoyable.

Very nice beat em up.

The vehicle sections were a nice change of pace though the motorcycle one was the worst level I think.


The music absolutely slaps.

The latter levels do run into some bugs though? I had to replay number 36? quite a few times because it wouldnt let me progress.

Clown behavior on part of the publisher.

3 months of it not being required and now all of a sudden "You only have 1 month before you are required to link your Steam with your PSN account."

That's also not to mention selling the game in regions where a PSN account cant be created.

Ill keep playing until they tell me I cant

Definitely get on sale if you're a fan of the LAD series.

50 USD is a bit of a steep price but otherwise a great game with great characters.

Absolutely great atmosphere and soundtrack. At 20 bucks its a steal for a nice story narrative focused game.

A nice little action/puzzle game.
I love space games.

Only experienced one crash that set me back about 20 minutes which is annoying. One thing I would like is more frequent saves or manual saves?

That and getting your main character to start a bit quicker? Even in Non EVA environments, it feels as if there's a delay in getting your character to actually move.
