This game deserves far more recognition than it is getting. Here's why you should consider buying it:

- 90's arcade styling is bang on the money. For example, I love how the next hole resolves in spinning 3D elements and the digitised commentator speech - so reminiscent.
- It's not too technical a golf sim and you don't need to know or like golf. The controls are simple to understand and the physics is fun and appropriate rather than ultra realistic. It's more of a relaxing one-arm game that you can Netflix to and doesn't take itself too seriously. More Mario than Tiger in how it plays (in a good way)
- It is absolutely full of neat touches and evident care from the devs in terms of what it is trying to do, and the dev team are responsive and engaged about suggestions and improvements. It seems that there are plenty of tweaks to come.
- Varied game options and a nice improvement curve backed up with suitable achievements. Single and Multiplayer (local and online) modes.
- It is very fun to play in my subjective opinion!

Steer clear if you can't get on with the very stylised, purposely period graphic style. The videos and description given are exactly what you get, although there are tons of options to vary the graphical style and give a slightly more modern experience. Going the other way, the options let you simulate a range of old school monitors and display options - a great touch!.

I absolutely adored Konami's Golfing Greats arcade game back in the day and this has completely hit the spot for me. A really good effort so it you try it and like it spread the love!

EDIT: Update, this game is constantly updated and improved with the support of a wonderful community - since the original review a career mode, other new game modes, weather effects, improved content creation, monthly challenges, dozens of player QoL requests, a near constant open beta and much more. Very impressive
