I like this game. Starting out, I was initially unsure; I picked the dwarf and the middle of act 1 I felt kind of underpowered and it just wasn't feeling good playing it. But then the god tree unlocked and I got a invulnerability ability and started paying attention to what skills I equipped and started massacring everything and since then it's been pretty fun. Now, the environments are not very varied. 1st act is corridor-sewers, 2nd act was a bit more open but still the same street/alleyway graphics, 3rd act seems to be snow and some dungeon-like areas. But the gameplay has been fun for me so far. There are some annoyances like the aforementioned samey-areas, playing with a keyboard and mouse sometimes I keep charging a monster when I want to get away, and the console-ish UI but overall I do like the game and glad I didn’t refund it.

Now, for those who are on a tight budget, I’d say hold off for a sale as from reports there isn’t much end game currently (I haven’t got there yet). For those who like buying every ARPG, this one is a pretty fun deal. I think it’s more polished and fun then Inquisitor Martyr was on release.
