When I put this into my cart, I expected a simple Mario Kart knockoff with everyone's favorite lasagna-eating monday-hating overweight feline instead of a plump plumber.. I was horribly mistaken, however, as Garfield Kart not only blew my expectations out of the water, but solidifies itself as the best game I've ever played. It starts with a simple tutorial with Garfield walking through each era of history, showing that everything important that has ever happened can be linked back to Jim Davis, the best person on the entire planet.

Soon after, the game begins to delve into the socioeconomic issues of America, especially during the Bush administration. This leads as a segway into the life of a young african teen in northwest Detroit and the struggles he experienced on a daily basis. It truly opened my eyes to the racial devide of the country I've lived in for most of my life. It's as if this game hit on a topic that the corrupt media had hidden away from our eyes.

Garfield and his owner, Jon, then began a socialist uprising in the heart of America, quickly gaining support of most of the country. As their power grew, the corrupt establishment grew worried that their power was soon to be stolen. So the US government began to rapidly produce Right-Wing Death Squads to eradicate the utopia Garfield had created. After a civil war between the Commie Cats Club and the Right-Wing Death Squads that raged for well over 16 years, the CCC finally took Washington D.C., effectively taking America. The Democatic Republic of Lasagnaland was finally established.

Now that Garfield had no resistance, he could finally enact his master plan: go-kart racing. He converted the entire state of Kansas into a big race track where he could challenge Jon, Odie, and some big rat thing to endless races through the once-proud wheat field. The rest of the story rests with the player to decide. I won't spoil the endings, but they will have your jaw on the floor.

Just kidding, the game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
