I've been playing this game since august of 2020 and it is great. The mods enhance the single player experience and TruckersMP makes this game really fun with friends. This game is still being constantly updated even though it is 8 years old. Overall, I recommend buying this game when it goes on sale because you can have a lot of fun with it.

2022 update: I now have over 200 hours in this game and it's still just as fun. The base map is still being updated and revised which is incredible support for a game that is coming up on 10 years. Now that official multiplayer is out and mods are supported, you can now create chaos with your friends or just take a nice relaxing drive. The constant events from World of Trucks is also a nice way to give back to the community. Although I originally bought this game at full price, I no longer regret giving $22 CAD to SCS because they make the game better with every update. ETS2 is overlooked because many people think "It's just driving a truck, how can it be fun?". Once you play the game, you will understand.
