Counter-strike is a unique fps game. You do not respawn when you die and your health is more realistic than most games. Not naming any *cough* 'Call of Duty'. You can play online with or without bots. This game is great, but it can get a boring playing it to much.The new textures and major aesthetic changes have more complex buildings and scenery which give a new feel to the game.

Garry's Mod is not a game. It is a physics toy and sandbox style tool. In Gmod, you can reluctantly do whatever you want to. You can: build things such as cars, buildings, bunkers, airships, boats, or whatever you can think up, use weapons from other valve games, as well as add-on weapons created by other people, play with physics, kill NPCs with literally anything that's the beauty of the game.

Garry's Mod is certainly an ambitious concept - basically, the main highlight of the game is the ability to place props/models and use advanced physics tools to make whatever the hell you feel like. At least, that's Sandbox mode.

Its definately a must buy in my view.
