EA FC 25 is yet another example of EA Sports failing to deliver on its promises and ignoring the demands of its fanbase. The game feels like a poorly repackaged version of its predecessor, with minimal improvements and a frustrating amount of recycled content.

Gameplay: The gameplay mechanics are clunky and unresponsive, making the matches feel more like a chore than an enjoyable experience. Passing and shooting are inconsistent, and the AI is either infuriatingly incompetent or impossibly overpowered, with no balance in between.

Graphics and Presentation: For a next-gen game, the graphics are shockingly outdated. Player models lack detail, animations are stiff, and the overall visual polish is far from what you'd expect in 2025. The menus are cluttered, and the same uninspired soundtrack does little to set the mood.

Ultimate Team: Ultimate Team continues to be a cash grab with an unhealthy emphasis on microtransactions. Building a competitive squad without spending real money is next to impossible, and the pack odds seem worse than ever. This predatory system undermines the integrity of the game and alienates players who can’t or won’t spend extra.

Career Mode: Once again, Career Mode feels like an afterthought. There’s little to no innovation, and bugs that have plagued the mode for years remain unaddressed. The lack of depth and immersion makes it hard to stay invested.

Online Experience: The servers are unreliable, with frequent disconnects and lag making online matches unbearable. The matchmaking system is broken, pitting players against vastly uneven opponents.

Overall, EA FC 25 is a massive disappointment that prioritizes profit over quality. It’s a glaring reminder of how complacent a company can become when there’s little competition. Unless drastic improvements are made, it’s hard to justify the time or money spent on this title.

Avoid it unless you’re willing to settle for mediocrity.
