I'm a little over an hour into the game and I rarely leave reviews but this game deserves a good one.
One of the best VR experiences out there so far.
Fully maxed out, looks really good, plays really good, little to no jank at all (in my experience, so far).

Combat overall feels good and responsive, 3 good things about combat in this game:
1. boss fights are actually pretty hard and its not one of those sword-fighting games where you can just swing your sword back and forth a couple inches in the same spot and get a hit reg.
2. This game nailed the weight feeling for all weapon handling. In other games, even blade and sorcery which is a VR sword-fighting masterpiece, the heavy weapons feel too heavy, too slow, the inertia makes it not very practical, whereas the small and shorts weapons are very snappy, but in this game, they all feel just right, it's the first truly enjoyable 2-handed melee weapon experience and it makes a huge difference, swinging a massive ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sword here is 10/10.
3. Ranged attacks. I love that for ranged attacks/weapons there is just *some* aim assist but not to the point where I can just toss a dagger in front of me and it'll lock onto someones head no matter what, you still have to be somewhat accurate in your throwing for it to land properly and can still miss. Can still use a bow in a fight while running around and still land a few hits without having to worry about your aim all that much, again, not too easy and not too hard, just right.

Abilities:
1. The grappling hook feels really good, I usually don't like these additions and added mechanics but in this game they just make sense and feel crisp. Especially with the puzzles and the physics.
2. The strength ability is slightly janky so far, haven't been able to fully utilize yet but that's probably just a skill issue on my end and not the game. (Works well with the swords but for the hand combat, I haven't been able to utilize it).

The only con I can think of that is worth mentioning is that there's only an option to dash but not jump, but that's minor.

Overall, jaw dropping moments every 15-20 minutes so far, haven't had those happen so frequently probably since Alyx. Everything just feels good and polished!

if you're looking for a good single player VR experience, you NEED to try this. At least try it under 2 hours. The devs deserve it and you if you love VR sword-fighting, you owe this experience to yourself.

I'll update the review when I'm done with the game

some new animations but same old fifa, laggy menu inputs, horrible connection issues for rivals with friends, cant mute that insanely annoying commentary on rush mode. other than that game runs well almost maxed out completely (motion blur is buggy and causes major stutters), 4070ti, i7 13700k, 32gb 7000mhz ddr5 cant recommend it in the current condition til they fix all these things but if you enjoyed fc24 its basically that with some minor QoL updates

No freezes, no crashes, good story so far, good graphics, fun & unique combat system, pawn system is really fun to use as well.

Runs well anywhere except for in the city.
Getting between 100-144fps @ max settings (no RT, DLSS on quality) on my rig:
4070 TI, i7 13700k, 32GB DDR5, Samsung Evo 980 NVME. @ 1440p on Win 11

Micro transactions don't really matter bc it's a singleplayer game and whatever it is you can buy through MT you can achieve in game easily. You won't feel the need to buy anything in order to play the game comfortably.

8/10 overall just because of performance dips in cities and no frame gen for 4000 series, otherwise 10/10
