DOOM Eternal is solid. At first I was mildly annoyed at the gameplay loop, but I've quickly come to learn how to do it and have enjoyed it immensely. Switching guns quickly and flying around the map, killing demons left and right is the most fun in the world. They've definitely upped the pace of this game compared to DOOM 2016 and I'm loving it. I do have some mild annoyances with the camera movements, when a particular section of the stage opens up, the camera moves away from you to show the changed section of the map regardless of what you are currently doing. It is a little annoying and something I would not expect in a AAA game. Despite this, the content, mechanics, and polish are all there and I had so much fun playing the game.
