Only played it for 2 hours but I just couldn't put it down until it got too much for me lol... You can see the love that went into this game, the atmosphere and eye for detail is amazing. I never got to play the original game even though I'm old enough but I'm sure people that DID play it back then agree with me that this game is a new classic. I'm really into RE and more arcade style horror games (if that is a thing) but generally I love atmospheric horror a lot more. Can't wait to continue with the story!

Dead Space is everything I remember from the original game and more!
I'm playing in the dark, with a headset on and the atmosphere is amazing.
Congrats on the Motive Studio team, their love for the game really shows.

Had to de-ultra the settings to medium-high but now the game runs at a steady 60 in 4K.

Looked forward playing this on PC, then Rockstar Social Club launcher happened...
I just couldnt' bother getting it fixed so I asked a refund.

Beautiful game that has more depth to it then it seems at first, was pleasantly suprised by it actually!

Played this gem on PS2 and I was completely suprised when it appeared on Steam, instabuy!

+ Amazing graphics, crisp!
+ Option to change soundtrack and spoken language.
+ Button and keyboard mapping.
+ Completionist challenges.
+ Improved bestiary.
+ 2x or 4x speed.
+ HUD large map!
+ 2 jobs/character.

- Story can be a bit too political..

- Got sucked in the hype.
- Bought the game 30 minutes before release.
- Played the game and immediately had to lower resolution and tweak some settings.
- LOVED the first challenge to repair my ship and get out in space!
- Did my first warp.
- Located my first beacon and settlement for trading, ...
- Continued on the space map.

... felt like the rest of the game would be a rinse repeat so I asked a refund. I felt that if a game felt repetitive after that short of playtime, no matter how beautiful and well designed, the release price tag is not justified. Had the same problem with INSIDE, only difference is that that game was not repetitive only short.

So I don't think I will recommend anyone buying it now but wait till sale.
