Dear 2k, your game is pretty trash, is probably the worst thing anyone ever presented to the world, is even worst than lavar ball's teeth if in that matter. Your game is very unplayable, you need so much vc for your my career character, if you don't pay and you didn't preorder the legendary gold edition. Getting to even 70 overall is impossible. 2k is mostly for casual players whom after a long day of work, come home, then they hope on and play a game or a few. But with your monetisation system,they won't be able to enjoy the game without playing their hard earned money in your game. Even if they payed they will come to realize that 2k18 is not worth the money they put in, in my opinion It is worth a lot less than its retail price.


Then we go into the even more garbage mode called: "My Team". This mode is awful, You have to pay so much to get packs and you will end up spending so much money to just build a viable lineup. Then after you had built a good team, after you play a couple games you will realize all of your players had ran out of "contracts". "contracts" you can't even buy with real money, And if you don't have enough myteam points to purchase the huge amount of the contract fees every few game, you' ll end up paying more money to buy packs, to get new cards so you don't have to buy the contracts. This "contract" system was in FIFA Ultimate Team. Instead of taking what FIFA did right, 2k took the contract system, which was the worst part of Ultimate Team in my opinion, and put it in their own game.


Let's For a second ignore the flaws with the modes, But even when we look at the core gameplay, it is still trash. Glitches, screenfreeze, disconnections, lag, out of the map bugs....etc, the developers straight up lied to us that 2k was a different game this year, when clearly it is not. Animations are back, players constantly throw the ball out of bounds and often they can't make an open layup or shot, even if they are really good shooters in real life. For Anyone who reads this review, please stay away from this game, if you really want to try this game out or you already own it, don't put any of your valuable money in this abomination. 2k18 is proabably the worst game of the year, it is a disgrace of genre and video game industry as a whole. Games like this are the reason that we have so much shady developers. So please Boycott all future 2k games until they put real effort in their game, and show that they actually want to make an effort to revive their commuity that they once destoryed. Thank You
