Prepare for... unforeseen consequences mate.

Abiotic Factor, as the game is currently, in my opinion, is really good.
I've been playing mostly solo for the time being (waiting on some people to pick up the game)
and it has been a blast. I've only nearly died several times so far, sneaking around
and looking for ways to make my life easier with each combat encounter is pretty fun.

I have much left to explore, much that I have yet to see, but let me talk a bit about some stuff.

The skill system is pretty neat, when you start the game you choose a class, some are better at certain things than others. This also comes with some pros/cons, but your class also gives you some "points" which you spend on different traits.
As you play and just... exist, doing things, your skill levels slowly increase depending on what you're doing.
Sleeping and defecating each have a little minigame to speed up the process, and often to learn a crafting recipe you have to slot the correct resources into the correct boxes in your crafting menu (So far there is no negative effect to getting it wrong that I am aware of.)

Combat can feel just a bit clunky at times, it's hard to hit at times with ranged weapons, your aim always sways a bit back and forth even when you're within your "capable" range limit (to be fair, you are just a scientist, not Gordon Freeman himself), and melee weapons can be rough to use on the Pests and Peccary if you don't first throw a net. Always throw nets at those. Always.

Exploration so far feels great, night time exploration felt a bit daunting in the beginning but once I found some ways to either get around or destroy security bots with relative ease, it became less so. If I first am out at night, I'd rather sneak around a security bot than deal with another pesky Exor. Thankfully, there are plenty of vents and other ways to get around the GATE facility.

I still have much exploration left to do, many secrets to uncover about the GATE Cascade Facility, but so far every moment has been a blast. I should also say that performance wise for me, the game runs great. That said I play capped at 60 fps, and I've seen a few say they've had a few issues here and there.

Overall, really great game so far. Can't wait to see where this goes.
