Pretty lame. There are far better co-op shooters out there and far better Alien games too. Lackluster technology and visuals for a 2021 AAA game.

Amazing and Spectacular.

When I originally played this game in my senior year of high school, I pre-ordered it for a PS4 which I did not have, realizing it would not be likely that it ever comes to PC. I borrowed a classmate's Playstation the day the game released, and picked up the game from Gamestop carrying both on my walk home. I did very little in my free time the next few weeks other than play Spider-Man. Like he had many times before, Peter Parker once again became a role model in my life.

Some of the best content across the Spider-Man saga and mythos brought together into one of the most cinematic games I've ever played. the musical score, the web-swinging, the visuals, the character design, the acting, the set pieces, the themes, the gameplay, the story. It is definitely not flawless, as sometimes the writing really takes a tumble, and some of the side-missions get incredibly repetitive. The stealth sections also require great improvement, and the change to Peter's face is, in my opinion, one of the greatest remastering downgrades of all time, but overall, these are minor gripes in the grandiosity and epicness of the game.

Spider-Man is not Spider-Man without the incredibly fun web-swinging. He is not Spider-Man without his friends. He is not Spider-Man without his foes. He is not Spider-Man without New York City. He is not Spider-Man without his hardships and difficulties. He is not Spider-Man without his successes and triumphs. He is not Spider-Man without guilt. He is not Spider-Man without being Peter Parker. He is not Spider-Man without power. He is not Spider-Man without responsibility. There is so much that makes Spider-Man a brilliant character and a potentially timeless coming-of-age story, and the essence and feeling of it is all captured here.

I believe this can be added to the Pantheon of great Spider-Man content outside of comic books, alongside the Sam Raimi Spider-Man films and the Spectacular Spider-Man animated series (the argument for the Tom Holland Spider-Man films being included in this has become stronger after the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home). It really makes you FEEL like Spider-Man (PC).

Incredibly disappointing game as it has none of the quality, scale, or polish of the latest Smash Bros., nor even that of the 2 previous entries. This game was very intentionally sold on the premise of being Smash Bros. but for Nick characters, but it is quickly learned that a crossover mashup of fun characters like Sponge-bob, Aang, Danny Phantom, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is not enough to carry an enjoyable experience.

An absolute top contender for the greatest FPS experience of the past decade. After the magnificent multiplayer of the first game, Titanfall 2 Improved vastly by adding a stellar single player story experience, where each level has perfect pacing and lets you play around with a fun mechanic in its own right. The characters, plot, and setting are also extremely well done.

The multiplayer is filled to the brim with unlockables, and the gameplay speaks for itself. Parkouring and flying around engaging in incredibly stylish gunplay is immensely fun, and it was a brilliant move to keep pockets of AI controlled enemies scattered across the map for both factions, as it keeps the pace fast and a thrilling encounter is always present. Taking on grunts and spectres creates the sense that you are the ultimate predator, but another layer is added onto this interestingly balanced chess match when your pilot becomes prey to an awesome and massive titan. The sensation of size and power is definitely felt when playing as one, and the contrast between lumbering around in a giant mech versus zipping around with a pilot is a creative and unparalleled dynamic, where both elements are fun and effective.

Many games are played for the desire of leveling up, attaining a new piece of gear, or just to reach some sort of end. I found myself playing this game for hundreds of hours over the past few years not for any of these reasons, but rather because of how gripping and genuinely enjoyable it is to play the game itself rather than to play for an objective, and this is a feeling that many will be hard pressed to find in a game these days. Do yourself a favor pilot, get this game and...

Standby for Titanfall

As Nick the Lounge Singer put it back in 1978,

"Star wars, nothing but star wars..."

It's the first game, but just that* much better. That's all there is to it.

Feels and plays like the clunky MMO Browser games you'd find on the Cartoon Network site a decade ago probably. many of the systems feel unresponsive, but it does still offer some fun when your zipping around in a space battle with the camera recoiling behind you. If that's all you want out of it, the game offers that with a bit of graphical delight, but it is a genuinely dated game in design.

A great alternative to this is Star Wars: Battlefront II (yes, the 2017 version). Despite it's bad reputation, the space combat is incredible and flowing, and it seems this game strived to reach that unsuccessfully.

Unfortunate it wasn't nominated for the "Soul of Vitruvius" award
