Story and tone are dookie.
Bugs are annoying but not enormously troublesome.

AN HOUR of mandatory, unskippable credits, half of which is an itunes gift card slide show and the other half is just the audio equivalent of a hot septic tank in the sticks. I watched two episodes of Friends and made dinner waiting for that $#!+ to pass. And THANK GOD for mute buttons. But all that waiting just to see some dull "social awareness" cutscene that ends with an "and oh yes by the way GIRL POWER NEXT TIME" teaser. Like holy crap, I was sad when everyone liked that whiny, flat-taled miles morales movie because it was just the Hillenburg-Spongebob disrespect effect toward Stan Lee, but it's like they just hate all of humanity and want us to roll our eyes far enough back to sever the tendons or whatever and cause us to bleed out from our eye sockets until we die.

Also not a fan of the anti-gun propaganda dialogue. Nobody red owns a gun HOPING to shoot somebody. They buy it hoping not to have to.

But the gameplay really is pretty awesome.

The images on the store page only show pack 1 for some reason. Pack 2 includes the 21 and Uub stuff, and the two form this set.

I find it worth noting that the red Vegeta attacks in this kit are primarily BLA-focused while the future pack 1's red Vegeta attacks are primarily STR-focused. On that page, ultra pack 1 includes Prominence Flash, which is one of the heaviest-hitting as well as least-expensive ultimates in the game, but you need to know how to access and strengthen it. But trust me, that's a ride you want to take.

For the dorkier, lazier player, Ribrianne's contributions to the player's kit feature lots of posing and buffs not unlike the Ginyu Special Corps. poses, but they're much more risky to pull off - as well as rewarding. One of them is extremely rewarding, but there will never be a moment in PvP for you to pull it off. Not even against an opponent that's six years old. It takes SO LONG. But some of her more accessible perks are worth the trouble, especially given repetition.

The 21 moves are kinda dazzling but pretty much just that. They don't deal outstanding damage, they're not good as follow-up, they're not good for spamming tools, they're just average, tacky, and somewhat conditionally useful (like big bang attack which I hope like hell nobody still uses).

Uub is a lot like that, but with a variety of colors in his visual effects that all kinda make me need to take a leak. I don't know what it is. But anyway, less flashy than 21, genuinely AVERAGE average stuff going on there.

This set also includes PQ 134, "Universe 7's Next God of Destruction," where can be found ultimate charge and burst charge. Maximum charge is just as good as either of these, but they have their niche advantages.

But for real. This set has some solid moves and great PQs. It's a good time.

If it's not obvious, this is the campaign for Xenoverse 1 as an additional campaign in Xenoverse 2. This DLC pack is cheaper and has better gameplay than Xenoverse 1, so if you're on a budget and choosing between the two, go for this one.

Frankly, Xenoverse 1 is a mood and a happy but sore memory, and you had to be there for it while the servers were up. It had much more personality than Xenoverse 2 but much lousier gameplay despite almost being a copy/paste situation. It's impossible to ignore all of the copied and pasted cutscenes, and if you've played Xenoverse 2's campaign all the way through, you've seen 80% of Xenoverse 1's. But, again, you had to be there for the manner of the community at the time in contrast with today's.

But no, really, when I say 80% of the campaign is copied and pasted, I mean it. You could think of this pack as a sort of beta campaign in contrast with Xenoverse 2's "finished" campaign (even though they're both just trash). But at least you'll be familiar with more non-canon "lore."

Still, it's a cute callback to a simpler, more player-friendly time when fans didn't like things all purple, pink, and glittery.

I had enough time to pull up my phone, find the store page on it, and type up a review in the middle of a new PQ. Solo.

The last few packs have been insanely awful with lengthy dialogue, sure. This one just one-ups the problem. Again. Even the BGM tracks will stop and loop back before the gameplay-halting dialogue ends.

I know I keep saying I need to stop giving these idiots money. This pack is a clear indicator that they're actively sabotaging the game rather than simply clueless about it. I don't know why dimps is doing everything they can to ruin it when it's not a great game in the first place, but all the yikes. Low drop rates, 5+ minutes of waiting through dialogue per run NOT INCLUDING your actual gameplay, piling in the teammate bots that are clearly only there to prevent players from exploring the gameplay mechanisms, there's just no way it's unintentional. These guys are lost in the sauce and 100% serious about it.

MY EYES

Cons:
- PSN account requirement made my orbs un-sticky.
- Plenty of random crashes.
- In contrast with the original, there's some censorship. Some of it changes context a little, but the main thing is that the guys aren't allowed to be horny now. Go figure.

Pros:
- Until Dawn
- Visually, this remake isn't half-baked at all. Look at the jelly in the Wendigos' eyes! Quite good on toast.

Other:
- "Playstation Studios presents" this, that, and the other thing. Gravity Rush when?
- I honestly burst out laughing when I saw the USB-C ports on the laptop in the first chunk of the game. This game hit in 2015. I think we should appreciate that.

But no, really, 8/10 game, fully recommend despite the extortionate price, PSN mandate, and unwarranted censorship.

Does anyone understand why we're just putting "collection" at the end of the names of single-release games without updates? Someone explain these morons to me.

It's so fun to look back and think, "wow, games used to have such great visuals and themes."

We'll put it this way:
I haven't played RTS titles since the debut of Spore. I have been playing very noisy, chaotic, bonkers games over the years. I hit 30 this year. I've been watching a few political videos here and there, and I'm actually going to vote this time. I've experienced a tooth infection and the lack of insurance or job-given funds to pay for it does not help. But no, I know I'm 30 now because I get home, I plop in my chair, I boot up a game where I don't need to feel the adrenaline to feel the pressure. I have "my little aliens and marines game!" And nobody can take it from me.
