(100% Completion Review)

I bought this on sale for £1.50, and I certainly got my money's worth. I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are really about. If it were a £20 game then it would be fair, and yes maybe even £7.50 current full price might be too much. But on sale as I got it was excellent value IMO.

The abandonware criticism as far as I can tell is only due to the game using an out of date Unity network function that is no longer is supported by Steam. Fair comment, but you can just use a direct connection and it's absolutely fine and stable.

As for the game itself, yeah it's not very deep, kind of cheap and does feel as though the effort dwindled. There was a lot of potential but what is there is fine. Managing your shop, making the orders and stacking the shelves, seeing things tick over is satisfying enough. It does what it needs to, no more.
But there are issues, mostly with a terrible UI, some awful NPC pathfinding and dreadful balancing. But none of these things were that big an issue. The one thing that did almost tip this to a downvote was that I did everything in the game when having earned ~2mil. But there is an achievement for earning 10mil. These kind of grindy, sore-thumb, artificial life extension achievements piss me off so much. Basically having to run the AFK in the background whilst playing something else for an additional 30 hours or so is a wind up.

Otherwise, it's ok. Worth it on sale for sure.
