They promised they wouldn't put weapons behind a paywall. Now they're going to... and an extreme one at that. $10 for a weapon? Shove it up your ass, Tripwire.

It would be a bit(!) okay if they added microtransactions if updates was any good, but they are NOT.
TWI just doesn't know what KF2 is at this point, neither does community.

Steam Users vs. Developers Guide
---

1. Make angry hostile reviews without reading into the problem (in this case, it was this or likely laying off a lot of staff).
2. Bombard said game with negative reviews.
3. Respond with hostility to any comments not matching your views.
4. If someone brings up valid points, call them a 'shill'.
5. Congratulations; you've now made an ass of yourself.

The only literal things you buy from this game are cosmetics

My multiple paragraphs took me minutes to write. It's unfortunate that you think a few small paragraphs is a lot.

You should look up the difference between a broken promise, and a lie. They're not the same thing and one would imply premeditation.

This kind of thing happens every single day in regards to "promises", with electric companies, gas companies, phone companies, you name it. Only in the gaming world do people turn into 5 year old's, throw their toys out of the proverbial pram and start screaming injustice when a "promise" is broken, or a price increased / reversed.

I can only assume that the people complaining haven't broken out into the real world yet. Shit happens, get used to it.

Have a good one.

You're the one licking corporate boots, pal. My review took me a minute to take. Your SEETHE in the comment section consists of multiple shill paragraphs. Again, my point stands. Promises are promises; break them and I'm going to tell you to shove it up your ass. Just because you're OK with people lying to you doesn't mean me or anyone else is. Anyway, that's my last response, I've wasted enough time on this, lad. Seeya!

At the end of the day, it's all a load of fuss for the sake of fussing. Either everybody in any given server will have access to the DLC, or nobody will - at no point will anybody be at a disadvantage, not that it would matter as this is not a PvP game. People just love to complain for the sake of it, and in this respect, it's pathetic.

Yes, I do. If you're an adult whining about "promises" made 5 years ago regarding a game then I think you need to reevaluate a few things.
yayo 14. sep. 2019 kl. 21:31
Blip - what kind of response is that? You are merely deflecting the fact they broke a promise. Do you think it's childish to expect promises to be honored? Perhaps us adults are crooked then, if broken promises are the norm, instead of upheld ones.
