A long time ago — when Fragmaster wasn't paying attention — Planet Half-Life hired Pratt as a Staff Writer. This was all well and good for a time, but his last article was so amazingly awful they had to kill him and find somewhere to stash the body. Since the dumpster was already full (and not due to be emptied for another week), one of the more sober staff members suggested they cryogenically freeze the body until a cure could be found for his deteriorating writing skills (thanks to a previous crowbar to the head). Pratt's corpse was put in stasis and soon forgotten. Happy times were to be had for quite awhile, until Jabberwocky one day announced he must go to far away lands and study dung beetles. With the dilemma of finding a new Site Director, someone suggested that perhaps it might be time to revive old Pratt. Because of his crowbar lobotomy they reasoned, he might just think being Site Director was a pretty neat idea. Unfortunately, when they finally found him in a disused meat locker, his poor body had shattered, and all high hopes were quickly dashed. "Wait a minute — let's clone him!" someone mused. "We can alter his DNA so he thinks his new job is keen!" And so they did.

That was then, this is now.

These days Pratt spends most of his time making doilies.
