Even though I spoke about achievements, you missed the fact that the main issue I have is the new devs changing the way the game is played.
You buy a game, and you have fun with it.
Then a company buy the right to this game and made lots of changes, changing how the game feels and plays.
I talked about "Conqueror" because trying to get such an achievement just highlight all the flaws of the game.
I didn't bought this game for achievements, nor do I buy other games for this reason.
I bought the game before the new dev company took over. The game as it was back then was fine, and I spend a few hours having fun with it.
Then the new devs pushed an update that changed the way the game is played, and that's my main problem here.
And wether you like them or not, achievements are part of the game. The new devs added these achievements with their update. So if these achievements are horribly grindy or stupidly hard, players have the right to complain.
And looking at the forum, I'm not the only one feeling that way.
Review the game, not the achievements...
