Great remake, even in 2022. The visuals of this game blows me away, especially because it's on the source engine. It still feels like a official half life game and the soundtracks fit really well with the scenarios. I recommend 100% even if you already played the original, this one still has a nice touch. Plus it has its own built in deathmatch modes. Pretty cool!

I've been playing this game for about 5 months now, and the game WAS good. I was able to run around, socialize blah blah blah the usual, I had mods, good mods. Mods to help stop people from crashing me, mods that optimized the game better because the devs aren't very good at making a optimization for it. I even had mods that allowed me to feel more immersed into the experience. But this new update. Took all of that away. Now I can't stop people who bypass the anti cheat with crashers, now I can't stop people from annoying me, now I can't run the game like I did before and now the game feels just dead because of everybody leaving. I liked this game, I still do just a little bit. But this update really just made it harder to play. I wouldn't mind if they removed mods and betterly optimized and moderated the game better. But they instead left the game nearly the exact same and removed mods. The game isn't much fun anymore after this, not to mention without the community this game has the game has no playability otherwise. The community is what runs this game and the devs only help that experience. I'll still play occasionally, but if you can. Fix your game, this game helped me socialize a lot better around people and open up about myself easier. Especially in this pandemic its way harder to socialize so this is what a lot of us go to. Anyway, if you guys see this, please consider what we say.
