This isn't the original and that's good actually.
I really like that it tries to decrease the authority player has with the factions and voting, been a while since I wanted a strategy that isn't god mode.
Increased scale makes game less personal and that's a personal preference, you don't get hit with that much of an impact when one guy dies, but now a civil war and faction conflict is actually believable.
I like the axis system and the idea that factions have diferring answers to most problems. Even tho it needs balance patches, Adaptation buildings are way too good, and most of merit laws are better because money is actually important, while trust you only need to be above 0. I think thats a cool element of Last Autumn that isn't utilized here, the production boost from high motivation. And privatized housing giving you more money AND housing with no dowsides at all is some landlord propaganda, where are my homeles encampments.
So far there's one scenario, and it is pretty streamlined, you esily detect what triggers next point in the story, it is more variety than the original, you get actual choices, a lot of them, but you don't really feel the impact aside from small buffs?
On first week it had a lot of performance issues, now it seemingly got better but stil got room to go.
The vibes work well, its a good game, different from the original. I still like original more, but this doesn't make this one a bad game, I wouldn't want the same game twice.

Great story and design, encourages you to explore the world and look for plot details around, various approaches to quests and endings, defined the genre, you know it. BUT it's an undercooked game.
-Some endings are bugged and will play the wrong cinematic no matter what, or some ending required a cut side quest to happen.
-Half of mechanichs are unnecesary or literally pointless. Charisma is a useless stat, traps is a skill I've not used once, steal and stealth are pointless and clunky, outtdorsman is pointless, so are 90% of perks, Gifted is just broken, so is Gambling, infinite money, lvl it to 90, leave two keys pressed and go for a walk, economy defeated.
-UI takes time to get used to
It's in this weird spot where you kinda need an online guide to figgure it out, but also don't wanna do it because it will spoil the coolest elements.

Falls off by midgame. Basically game is completed by that point, but it lies to you asying that you also need lvl 15 of popularity. Exploring the map, perfecting recepies, progressing and getting new tools and getting new interactions with customers are all fun and cool, first 10 hours are a good neat game. But then you realize that your already lvled all the percs, explored all the map, have all the tools, made all the recepies you could ever need and aren't getting any new customers. So, sounds like a completed game. But nope, that's just the middle, you still need to make like 300 of repetative potions to same faced people with identical dialogues. There's nothing new to discover there, you aren't a exporing sage anymore, you are the McDonalds borgar flipper. Which would be fine if it was endless mode, but that's the main game.
