It’s not amazing, in fact it can be mundane at many times. If you get this game on sale it’s worth it, but $60 is insane. I played the beta and was so disappointed I waited until this year to play it. While it has come a long way, it’s not a true battlefield. Specialists instead of true classes, wonky vehicle physics, basic gunplay, boring challenges to unlock new weapons, and battlepasses are what hold this game back. It doesn’t give you that classic experience we have come to know and love. The maps aren’t horrible but the lack of unique feeling environments and dense CQB isn’t really existent.

TL:DR Buy it on sale, it kinda scratches the Battlefield itch but it’s not the same. It still needs a ton of work (but that won’t happen). Waiting on a new entry to the series may be better for some.

If you've never played through GTA IV and both DLC's, you're missing out. This game is better than GTA V in my opinion due to the incredibly dense and detailed world and the gameplay is a bit less "arcade-y". The characters are solid and each one has a unique personality.

Plot: GTA IV is set in a fictional city known as Liberty City which heavily based on New York City. You assume the role of a Balkan immigrant, Niko Bellic, who arrived in the city to have a fresh start with his cousin who told him how "amazing" his life is in Liberty City, but it turns out that Niko was lied to by his cousin, requiring Niko to begin doing jobs and getting his cousin out of trouble with debt collectors. Both DLC's tell stories that are interwoven with Niko, one being about a biker who just wants the best for his MC but is dragged into a heap of trouble, and the other is about a club owner and his awful decision making and drug addiction.

Gameplay: The physics are overly exaggerated at times, but this game has amazing ragdolls, gunplay, and the driving is awesome (depending on who you ask). The guns feel powerful, the cars feel heavy, and the mission variety is pretty good. I'm personally not the biggest fan of repetitive side objectives/missions, but the way they are presented in GTA IV makes them much easier to digest and most of them are really entertaining.
You can go parachuting, bowling, deal weed for some Jamaican's, etc.

You get to bully people who deserve it and kiss girls. Plays like GTA and has a very entertaining gameplay loop.
In all seriousness, this game is very fun, and I recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it as it only took me 19 hours to get 90% completion.

10/10. Underrated

Early Access Review
Well, this game is the good good. A team of 5 people made a game that blows almost any of the current AAA titles out of the water amazes me. The Graphic Style is awesome and the lighting is delightfully beautiful. The gameplay and combat, sense of progression/depth of progression is mind boggling and at times overwhelming in a good way. This game truly uses early access the proper way, and I can't wait to see what they add in the future.

10/10 would grind for bronze again.

I bought this game during the Autumn Sale 2020, and I must say, I was half expecting it to be a mediocre zombie game like Dead Island. To my surprise, this is one of the best first person zombie games I have ever played. The store is mildly cliche but it is still pretty good, the gameplay is amazing, the soundtrack is amazing, the graphics are really good, and the sound design itself if impressive. This is hands-down one of my favorite games of all-time now, as of writing this review I'm about 85% done with the story, and I can easily say that this is the most fun I have had with a game in a long time.
This game makes me feel badass and scared at the same time at some points.

Also, f**k the Virals.
9.5/10.

I'm not personally a fan of medieval or sword-fighting games, however this game is a true masterpiece. It is a beautiful game with well thought-out voice acting, above average animations, accurate sword/melee combat, challenging difficulty, beautiful soundtrack, and a immersive setting. The world feels truly alive, the first hour of gameplay is overwhelming but is highly intriguing. I highly recommend this game to anyone who is interested in history, or just is having trouble finding a new game.

9.5/10
~Hands down one of the best games I've played in recent times.
